Rasa is from a lore pair - Gaolers who sacrificed themselves to protect some of the Banescale eggs from the frost. But they survived somehow, and now protect the mutated hatchlings. Survival against the odds!

Gelatinous is a shameless fandragon of the classic Gelatinous Cubes, and what else embodies Plague quite so well? Slimes and Oozes survive in impossible places, dissolving any matter they can get ahold of to sustain themselves. And the bones? Those are just for aesthetics.

Caustic is a kinder, gentler side of Plague: encouraging life. She tends fungi and lets all manner of frogs and toads rest on her slimy body - they need the moisture and she appreciates the company.
