So i am a big fan of gaolers, however the gene limitations that ancients currently have make it hard to make them look different (and yes, i have seen multiple new apperal sets & 2 new genes released for moderns (flaunt & flair + ribbon & eel) in the time i now play this game... but i have not seen a single new thing for the old ancients release in that time period (i play since this years wind festival)... I guess, that is why ancients are not really loved, to limited options... BUT as said above i LOVE and i mean LOVE Gaolers, just look at my lair, so much FLOOF!!! And here is the one that started it all: Leaf [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/53758729][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/537588/53758729_350.png[/img][/url] At that time i only wanted one floof pair, it was late at night and i wanted to go to bed after grabbing a pair, i found her (and maybe she needs to be re-gened if new genes release), anyway i found her in the ah and bought her, then i sreached for a male unreleated to her, but in the same colour range, i found 2 little males, Dusk & Sol, since it was late i thougt: ok, buy them fast before they are gone and decide tomorrow wich one will go with Leaf and wich one will get a new partner, you then will have 2 gaoler pairs, wich is also good... the next day i looked at Leaf and saw that she is an older gaoler and already breed, always with the same partner... and that partner was for sale too... i did not wanted to seperate them and so i bought Citrom (her old partner).... now i had 2 little males without partner and an oldie pair freshly united... and that is how the sister pair Dawn & Luna got their paws into my lair... and that setteled my obsession with gaolers (even though it was veilspuns before). This is Kochka, she is also an oldie, but i was not able to safe her old partner,so she got a new one named Braylen, they are my sweets pair, she is a chocolate lava cake and he is a Chocolate Cream Pudding with Raspberry Sauce... meet Kochka: [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/56255413][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/562555/56255413_350.png[/img][/url] Sassafras was a Gaoler from the "safe dragons from exalt row thread" and i asked if i could have him, i really liked his look, i got him and also got told that he is a subspecies called "Ichor" and that i could register him there.... i did and i also bought him a partner in the right colour range for that subspecies, Sarsaparilla had not the right genes and i needed to re-gene her completly, however i now registered her and can proudly say: i have a plague subspecies pair (Plague and Ice eyes are preferred, but other eye types are also accepted for that subspecies, so now they will have little nature subspecies hatchlings). That was a hard choice, since there's so much potential in Ancient breed-exclusive genes...
