Dragon Share

First off, your commitment to this game is extraordinary. I mean, a fully completed bestiary is impressive enough, but you also manage to maintain a robust social life and a thriving, well-organized lair! You seem like a really neat person, and I’m glad to have encountered you. Anyway, all of your dragons are beautiful, but here are the ones that I liked:
Khalador and Lehua for coloration, Thaumas, Lesseltia, and Luminesque for great apparel, and Minuialrin for the lore.

But also those colours are so pleasing on him! The prismatic starsilk and the light emblem really are the icing on the cake- and that background he has gosh you are so good at this please teach me your designing ways *-* Also don’t worry about liking as many dragons as i did, just like 5 if you want since my lair isn’t that great yet and many dragons are unfinished ^_^ (ironically the finished ones are hidden)

The Mulberry/Mulberry/Banana circuit lady is still unnamed cause I'm hunting for a breeding pair match and I like to give them themed names together. But Dichotomy is super cool I will have to consider it!

I can’t take full credit for some of Tresillo’s appearance (or her name), I got her in a trade of sorts only recently (I think just before you complimented her even lol) - her [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&tab=userpage&id=31173]previous lair leader[/url] bred her up, and had her in the same skin with the seashell mantle. She heartily approves of Tresillo’s turn to piracy, however, and I’m glad you do too! Found 115 total dragons in your collection to give a star to! BOTH of my faves in your lair were pirates too! I love the use of the water halo and crane’s wing fans together in particular! I wouldn’t think any of this would make a good dragon if you showed me the pile and told me the dragon was red, purple, and yellow green. I’d be like mmmm no, pass. And I’d BE TOTALLY WRONG. The gear and genes you chose pulls all those colours together and makes her a very intriguing looking pirate lady for sure! I don’t even know how this works, but it really does, I love her! My eyes are fascinated.

I don't mind what the subject would be, be it a butterfly, moth, tea cup, etc. I'm not entirely sure if you already knew this but I thought I'd say it just in case, I have multiple dragons with a "hatchling heritage" section of their biography, of which I didn't make. Those are all old bio formats from the hatcheries I got those dragons from, but I just don't ever remove them. I don't own the concept at all, though as far as I know it probably originated from [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/baz/2846357/1]Foa's hatchery, Sornieth Shave Ice[/url]. Also, I'm glad that I could help! I made Embre's bio specifically for that reason ^^ And of course you can make your own! @Itarille No hard feelings if you decide against it - I might end up using it myself (not that we can't both do so), but for a different dichotomy dragon, not a copy. @LapisWings Ah, book buddy makes perfect sense - also totally sounds like it could be a thing. Like cross-lair thing where book-loving dragons from different lairs get together. That would be a cute concept too, I have at least a few dragons who would totally be book buddies with your dragons lol. Definitely don't have the energy to do anything with that right now though, I should list it in an idea list somewhere for after I'm done with this event and have more time. ------- I am absolutely willing to make your lovely comfort dragon a graphic 110% willing, it's focus and energy that might not agree in a timely manner, but absolutely on the list of willings and wantings. ------- I did notice the hatchling heritage thing was on multiple dragons, not just the mentioned ones - I mostly just meant that I'm glad you kept them in tact because they were neat to see and gave me ideas. I wouldn't be copying any of them exactly - in fact a great deal of my official hatchlings definitely have a heritage already that I was putting in my hatchery, or making for my hatchery, I just hadn't thought far enough ahead to make graphics for them and some formatting to stick it in their bios. ------- Odette is a pretty name to keep and suits the apparel you've given her - even if the Odette in the ballet Swan Lake (and its "inspired by animated movie, Swan Princess) never carried a serving tray as far as I know. Neither of those Odettes hold the adorably quaint (I hate that arrogant sarcasm has almost turned this into an insult - no sarcasm here) little flower-covered café owner/barista vibes. She's more adorable and cozy this way (tea-themed as opposed to ballerina princess). And no worries about the length of time between replies, didn't have any "left on read" anxiety over it in the first place. I typically only need one reassurance from people when I'm afraid I've possibly been too much, so I figured if I wasn't too much in giving you tons of feedback about my dragons, then surely I've not been too much when gushing about yours ;D I'm a very chill person about getting back to me on things - one of those to the extent I will actually unintentionally stop talking to people I know and love for months without realizing how much time has gone by or that I was technically the last person to talk in the first place lol. Add on my memory issues and I'm likely to forget I asked questions or said things that warranted an eventual reply in the first place. Can't wonder if you did something wrong if you don't even remember you're technically waiting to find out what a book buddy is ;D Though also, even when I realize months later I never got a reply, I just assume their memory attacked them and it's not personal. It was a thing I worked on about myself years ago and now it's just a matter of course (mindfully repeat it til you believe it style - remind yourself). I still slip up sometimes under certain situations, but I'm pretty proud of myself for stomping down the "Oh no it's me I did something wrong" voice until it barely exists any more. I have a good emotional support network too, so that helps for sure. That's a really long way of saying I'm a very patient person and no matter how long I'm waiting for a response from you, you are solidly in my mind as a very cool person I'm glad to have met with awesome dragons. To be 100% honest with you, I’m not sure how I feel about the gaolers myself and have considered occasionally rehoming that guy and his mate, even though I bought her an expensive accent. I love the fluff on my other goalers though. Anyway, I definitely feel ya on liking shard but maybe not enough to have your own lol. Also, thank you for the offer to pair up with Zenith, if I wasn’t so sure I’d forget to even ask by the time I get around to breeding her, I might take you up on that, but with my memory, and the fact I want to eventually breed her up her own unrelated mate in a project, I’d otherwise totally take you up on that. Also also, in trying to find Zenith’s twin in your lair, I realize Oracle has a twin in your lair too and I can already tell we share a lot of aesthetic preferences. [i]Also[/i] she’s part of a light-arcane-fire subspecies I’ve been drafting up for years now (pretty much ever since opal was brand new) that I may one day finish lore enough for to start so I’m saving her to be one of a breeding pair for their theoretical debut. Purple opal would not be one of the qualifying colors, sadly. Though part of my creative block on the subspecies is that the qualifying colors aren’t exactly a range, so maybe purple will end up in the final product and just the color split opals that fit the subspecies theme are the rare speshul variants idk. I might also allow earth flight eyes but am leaning toward no (sorry earth, you corner the lovely gem-theme niche but this theme is more heavily on [i]starlight[/i] in these gems rather than just gems themselves). Your twin to my Oracle would be one though when they debut which lead me to recognizing their father’s name and sure enough your Aurora and my Oracle ARE twins! Same nest sisters who just coincidentally ended up in the same accent. Oh that’s super neat <3 Oracle is very excited right now in the back of my mind and says hello to her sister! Okay, anywho, on to the actual lair crawl! 98 stars handed out and I want to see more! Beautiful lair you’ve got there! I have so many tabs open for the two-dragon spotlight. Some of those stars were handed out based on scries in the bio. Also I’ve apparently seen about 20 of these around and given them a star already! Pretty sure this is my first lair crawl for you though because there were a lot more stars to hand out that I DEFINITELY would have given if I’d been doing a lair crawl or even just a thumbnail search for pretties at that. I’m inclined to say other forum games or theme weeks, all of the above? Okay, a few thoughts in my head on some of these open tabs who will not be chosen. I REALLY wanna steal Eclipse’s accent. He’s awesome as-is but nnnngh I want that accent myself for my eventual Vast fandragon from The Magnus Archives. I found Straka as a result and intend to look later because a larger dragon would be more suited to The Vast and maybe they have one to shop for. Either way, thanks to you for the idea for my eventual Vast fandragon that’s on the backburner. Ooo lucky color roll on a gen1 too! Grats! How on Sornieth do you expect me to choose just two of these beauties for a spotlight? Pumpkin has an accent I’ve wanted for so long, she is cute and I am jealous. I want my Halloween PC to hold a pumpkin pearl too! Lol LISA I love this concept, love the designation title of her name and like it better than all of her previous designations. That accent is just perfect with her colors, genes, and concept! Almost thought the whole thing was a skin. And with that I’ve narrowed it down to 5 tabs and a conundrum. They all deserve name mentions at the very least: Summer, Mare, Seelie (even before the awesome scry/outfit additions in her bio, but even more so after!), Celeste, and Malachite. Just when I think I can narrow down these spotlights...nope. Gosh those colors are SO PRETTY and I’m a sucker for everything fae-themed like the seelie. I may have to get myself a dragon with this color combo going on in some way, gosh that mint and purple in her mane alone is perfection. Promise I won’t copy your queen beyond colors if I ever do - in fact, if I NEVER do it will be because I can’t figure out anything different with it that’s anywhere near as satisfying and pretty ;D --------- Sunchild Celeste and her perfection of apparel and colors gets downgraded to honorable mention ONLY because she’s got more attention than the other three (otherwise I probably would have chosen her for 2nd spotlight). I’m down to trivial eliminations here lol. Malachite has the least stars, but it’s telling to me that I can’t bring myself to use that as a trivial excuse to pick her, but OMG she’s super lovely all the same. Mare is star ocean perfection but I think I’m going with Summer for your second spotlight: [center][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/67390301][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/673904/67390301_350.png[/img][/url][/center] Those colours are gorgeous together and I love the new wing apparel but have yet to make it work for any of my own ideas so I’m always impressed the few times I’ve seen it fulfill its potential as an awesome piece, as it does with Summer. The flower crown, the accent, the nice black background of the dragon genes and colours to make it all pop - 100% gorgeous use of color and apparel! Also I love how much the opal scales from his tertiary looks like part of the accent. I actually had to double check when I went to write this and make sure they weren’t from the accent like wait...opal does add opal “scales” over the legs right? Beautiful lair!

@RootsforLeaves Thanks so much for the compliments and stars! And yeah, Yavie’s look, centered around that accent, happened shortly after I got her in 2017 - doesn’t surprise me it’s not available. Though that person made a similar accent for several breeds and I could’ve sworn I’ve seen a few of them out there still not that long ago. Maybe try just searching “Moonflower” and see? I think for some reason I couldn’t get them to come up under the full title last time I checked to see if the other breed versions might still be out there to snag. As for your dragons, wow you have a LOT and since your trend is minimalist on apparel, I was also more liberal with stars for naked dragons than usual. In dressier lairs where I think it’s highly likely they’ll end up in apparel, they have to really wow me au naturale to get a star while naked (or have a good plan in bio) - but also I know some people who do play dress up get sad when naked dragons are chosen). What this means is that you’ve got a whopping 230 stars out of me! [center][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/48232778][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/482328/48232778_350.png[/img][/url][/center] Lune here gets the spotlight with his perfectly matched familiar. It could only be more perfect if his eyes were also pale blue to match his familiar. That being said, on his own the light eyes make for the most pleasing, monochrome aesthetic, so he’s still beautiful! Those tree branches look perfect with his colours and genes! Also, nice work on the darker scene choice, it helps make him stand out that much more while also providing a nod to his name. ------ Non-spotlighted compliment exchanges: [b]Sereg[/b] is gorgeous those genes and colors are perfect for showing off one of my new fave festival accents! [b]Dynasty[/b] with her perfectly matching familiar too <3 I really like that cute accent and I like it even more paired with her genes and colors, then you go and give her under-wing feathers with the sunburst wings and she’s so pretty! [b]Scorpion[/b] and his scorpion - oh wow he’s old! A 2nd FR Christmas gen1 beauty! Oh and light flight - jealous! I picked him just ‘cause that apparel on those colors and genes is killer! Almost enough to make me change my mind on the spotlight pick lol. He was a solid 2nd place already. [b]Zephyr[/b] is one of those dragons who shows off how beautiful koi can be and the apparel and accent chosen just accentuates it all, highlights while simultaneously pulling all his gene colours together in a way I don’t think that secondary could’ve done on its own. Gosh his eyes stand out so beautifully with that accent and apparel too. [b]Frostscale:[/b] Happy, fluffy snow tundra <3 I love her, she’s so cute. Pretty little snow faerie! Oh! I didn’t even notice she had gembond until I was looking at genes and now that I know they actually look like little piles of snow that make her that much cuter! I thought they were part of her accent. Perfect fluffy friend with her too! [b]Shiri:[/b] Extra pretty name for a pretty dragon! The thorn-and-roses apparel with that beach background scene look poetic together. Also her wings match her name colour and while I’m sure that’s an accident, it’s extra pleasing to my weird brain right now. Extra compliment for… [b]Tidefury:[/b] Because I ran out of time before rollover so had to record stars and wait before finishing the lair crawl. While I waited, I looked at the rest in thumbnail only so I could get to writing the return compliments for your 7 and her beauty was easy to miss that tiny. Up close though? Oh yeah, she easily displaces Shiri on the list for me! I like the concept of that accent but have never seen it actually look good on a dragon before - a fall theme with this apparel and the autumn leaf apparel? So much perfection! I think there’s no other appearance for this accent. You turned a mess of gold splotches into a fantastic autumn dragon, beautiful!
