They are rather aggressive towards others that are not within their clan due to their protective nature. Hatchlings are top priority when it comes to this. • The yellow range Veined is actually a golden infection caused by the species diet of gold and brass materials. Anything gold and brass that they find will be stored in pouches for snacks later. This infection is harmless and doesn't grow beyond a certain point. Infections that get too large often grow rapidly, fortunately this is extremely rare and harms the individual with the infection, but barely. Only an itch and dry skin occurs. These gold infections are not contagious and have never caused death to an individual. • Goletrians with Ribbon and Eel genes are considered worthless and unnatural. Formed from a mutation through breeding with other species not related to their own. They are highly respected and valued in the species' communities. [b]Social Life[/b] • Generation 1 Goletrians are highly respected in the communities and so are their offspring. Offspring are trained at a certain age to ensure survival. They are taught basic survival skills and can choose to become warriors later on once they leave their home to join a new one. Some become soldiers and fight to protect their clans. • Abandoned Goletrians will be taken in / adopted by other Goletrians and taught the basics they need to know in order to survive. [b]Diet[/b] [center][item=Gold Ore] [item=Fool's Gold][/center] • Minerals. And lots of them. Gold and brass are their primary diet along with meat and insects. Solid gold and brass is prefered and given to hatchlings to promote the strengthening of their teeth. Softer food is given to the elderly, like meat and insects. Sometimes other Goletrians will take their time to soften gold and brass for their elderly. They will even eat jewelry if they are hungry enough. Laces are worn by anyone of any rank, while Bones are worn by Hunters and Warriors who slayed their enemies in and wear their bones with pride, feathers plucked off of their armor and apparel by hand and delicately worn by the winner. Goletrians with many Bones are highly respected and equally feared. Headdresses made from wolf pelts are worn by Hunters as well as Warriors. The fur is used for blankets and attached to armor for the aesthetic. Lovely Seraphs are a sign of royalty and can only be worn by level 25, registered Goletrians. • Rare Attire [center][item=Brass Steampunk Attire] [item=CHasm Arctic Gear] [item=Classy Suit] [item=Counselor's Apparel][/center] • Steampunk apparel is worn by Engineers. Arctic Gear is often worn by Goletrians living in cold conditions, like the Southern Icefields. Sometimes Arctic Gear is worn in the summer, not for the cold, but for the aesthetic. Suits are a symbol of status. The more colorful the suit, the higher ranking job they have. Most are on Full moons, on very rare occasions, on nights of a crescent moon. These moments bring joy to all the Goletrians in the surrounding area and this special moment is celebrated with a festival with a feast of gold and brass, meat and insects. Lots of jewelry is given to the parents of the offspring as a gift for this special event. One lanturn is released into the sky with every Albino Goletrian born on that night. Level 15+ to be registered! [/center] [b]Appearance/Lore[/b] • Albino Goletrians have pale skin, lacking pigment. It is a recessive trait that is very sought after and valued. The infection that grows on them is made of Onyx and Obsidian. In some extremely rare cases, this infection can grow and harm the individual. Itchiness and dry skin occurs, however, death never occurs. • Every festival they participate in is on a full moon. Special attire is worn at these festivals and lanterns are released released into rivers and only stop once they fall off a waterfall. The grounds on which they hold these festivals have a special meaning to Goletrians of all kinds. • Albino Goletrians with Ribbon and Eel are extremely rare but invaluable. Kalidrins have mutated to gain the ability to have all colors and come in many sizes. • Sometimes their infections can grow and cover their skin, this infection is harmless and only causes itchiness and dry skin. death has never occured, but as Kalidrins are weaker than their Goletrian cousins, it may happen if the individual doesn't care for their infection with lotions. • Kalidrins with Ribbon and Eel are common, and are valuable, as they range in many colors. Pelts of these dragons go for millions of treasure. In most cases, these infections grow to cover their entire form, turning them into mobile statues. • Cyprunes with Ribbon and Eel genes are worth a pretty penny, but undisirable because it is a mutation through breeding with other species. Quite restrictive tough T.T I don't think I have any dragons that could fit, sadly. Ah well, maybe that's a new breeding project then.
