I bought this boy! He has koi already, but I couldn't help but adore his fiery smoldering look, the gene is a little overwhelming with most apparel so it ended up a little too covered up for my taste but he still looks great

This is another gen1, and he's going to be very pretty! I bought him around NotN and I had to keep him after I saw him with koi (getting koi and a coatl scroll will kill me though)

Koi immediately was a favorite as koi fish are my favorite fish, though I had trouble finding dragons I loved with it, so I popped it in the scrying workshop to find some colors that would match rl kois. I came up with several and I'm now in the process of breeding for three or four separate ones for breeding pairs so I can share some natural looking koi dragons ^^; I have since found others that'll rock it, but they don't sport the gene just yet. So here are my finished ones.
All three of these guys are named in reference to actual koi patterns or something to do with koi fish! Kinkiko, I managed to find as a coatl on the AH. A few changes later and she's one half of my future xxy Caramel pair ^^

In fact, I'm a sucker for special eyes, so my project is now prolonged and Suri got a makeover. Originally, she was a SD with Fade/Blend/Underbelly, but since she's part of the koi project and a water dragon to boot, I figured a lil guardian child would work better with her eventual lore. I'm not even mad she hatched with goat eyes and my project is gonna run longer. She's a new favorite for me.
