She takes a moment, thinking it over. "[i]Romantic,[/i] hmm?" She mumbles. "Well I'd suggest cocoa, or our Rooibos or Oolong tea. Or, if you're more of a coffee person, maybe our cinnamon Mocha? But It's really up to you." She pauses, "Personally, though, I think it would more romantic, if you've known this person for a while, to get them something you know they'll really like--because that proves that you care about them enough to pay attention to their likes and dislikes." A teasing smile spreads over her face. "May I ask, whose the lucky dragon?" She wonders, waggling her eyebrows.

They thank Macha before heading off to join Lila and Blossom at the booth, and begin chattering eagerly, before they notice a new customer. “Hello!” Pondskip runs up to her immediately, (@jxzzpvnk) “what’s your name? Are you waiting for someone? Are you going to order? You should get the cocoa it’s super yummy! I love your outfit it’s super pretty! I hope we’re going to be friends! Have you met Blossom? She’s Lilas pet bird!” She gestures at the booth, where Lila and the owl were sitting at. “I can bring her over if you would like to meet her? Unless you are scared of birds. Then I won’t do that because that would be mean. Oh wow I love your hair can I touch it?” She pats the veilspun on the head before they can reply. Iris sighed. “At least give them a few seconds to process what you are saying Pondskip. Not everyone is used to dealing with your gibberish.” She says hiding a grin. Lila waits quietly at their booth, not wanting to disturb the new customer.

Macha says cheerfully, feeling somewhat flattered by Iris's approval. "Our new customer was just about to order! I suggested the cocoa as well--it's one of our most ordered drinks, which is a bit of a shame, because our tea is very good, and we have a [i]lot[/i] of it. But you know what that means--more Tea for me!!" She laughs, turning back to the new customer, waiting for the Veilspun to make her decision.

She looks around, bashful, "... you see, heh, I am looking for my soulmate... yet, I have tried many things, to no luck. I have heard, culturally, that the scent of a romantic drink might lure one's soulmate forward..." She shakes her head, a little embarrassed, "...but I suppose I was mistaken." @Wufflesnuff Baojing laughs, somewhat overwhelmed, and quickly begins rearranging her adornments, "...ah, hello! it's, uh, quite nice to meet you... uh, Pondskip?" She gently shakes her head, happy with the placement of her jewelry. "...I am, in a way, waiting for someone..." Baojing smiles longingly, and continues, "...however, in the meantime, I suppose I can stay for a chat."

Says Macha with a smile. "I wish you the best of luck with finding your soulmate. But In the meantime, what would you like to drink, or eat? We have plenty to choose from." She chuckles. "I must say, I've never seen my Cafe quite this busy before. It's pleasant."

I suppose I will take a cup of oolong... and, uh, a ginger tea, to go.” She glances out the window, seemingly looking for someone, “Ah, my travel partner, Hourglass... I asked him to meet me here after he finished with his cataloguing.” Baojing smiles, “He is not my soulmate— but he is a dear friend of mine.” (//note my power just went out so uhh replies may be slow woops)

Unfortunately, whoever he was, it did seem that he would likely be causing some sort trouble for one reason or another. He paused a short distance away from the other dragons, waiting to be addressed.

That means we’re friends now right?” She says grinning. “I’m actually looking for a pet right now. I really want a frog but Iris says I can have one later because I’m too ‘irresponsible’ and it’s ‘for the frogs sake’” she says in a horrible imitation of Iris. Pondskip looks at all the colourful accessories Baojing was wearing. “Those are very pretty.” She observed. “Do they mean anything? Are they magic? Oooooh are [i]you[/i] magic? I’ve heard that a lot of veilspuns are good at magic! Like Iris, she’s a mage and she has healing powers! What are your cool powers? Ooooh are you a shapeshifter? Maybe you can control fire? Wait your a arcane dragon oops! Can you see the future? Wait that’s a water dragon thing! Hmmmm oooooooh you have magic space powers!” Pondskip said, bouncing around around looking excited. “Oooh do you want to meet Blossom? She asks, spquickly picking up the owl who was now trying to dunk its head into Lilas macha. “She’s very friendly, she will let you pet her.” Pondskip promises, holding out the wriggling owl who was trying to get back to Lilas macha. “Oh stop wriggling you.” She laughs. “Your going to meet a new friend! Do you want to pet her? NO BLOSSOM THOSE BELLS ARE NOT FOOD- I am so sorry she is a very curious owl. She isn’t like this most of the time. That was very bad Blossom auntie Pondskip is very dissapointed in you.” She scolds the owl who was now chewing on her tail. “Blossom apologise to the nice lady please.” The owl looks at Baojing and makes a soft chirping sound. “Very good.” Pondskip says in approval before turning back to Baojing. “I taught her that!” She whispers proudly. “So,” she says, no longer whispering. “Do you have any pets? I want to get a frog one day. Oh I already told you that silly me!” She laughed. “What kind of animals do you like? If you don’t like animals that’s ok. I don’t like the birds that live near our house because the eat the small frogs which is very mean because frogs are my friend.” Pondskip continues blabbering on excitedly, while Iris seemed to be staring at her Thai tea like if she looked at it instantly enough she could figure out the recipie.

@alumthedragon While Pondskip who was busy chatting to Baojing had not noticed the stranger yet, Lila and Iris had very much noticed him. Lila stayed put but eyed him warily, while Iris calmly approached him. “Hello, there.” She says politely, she does not want to stir up any trouble with him. “What brings you to these parts?” She says, hoping to get some insight on why they were here. “My name is Iris, if you were wondering.” She smiles cordially and scans the dragon up and down. He didn’t seem to have any weapons except for the thorns growing out of him, though he looked like he wanted to cause trouble. “My goodness, those thorns must be very sharp.” She observes, trying to get him to talk. “So, what is your name?” [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/68003634][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/680037/68003634_350.png[/img][/url]

Macha said, glancing at the thorned veilspun behind Baojing briefly. "Hey Cinnamon?" She called, "can you come out here and take this next customer for me? It's getting a bit busy, so if you're done with this next batch of muffins I could use a helping hand!" A voice called out from the kitchens, and then a Veilspun with a red and white stripped mane appeared, balancing a tray of poppy seed muffins on his head. He was adorned with jewlery and bells, which jingled slightly as he moved. He smelled like freshly baked bread. Carefully, he slid the muffins into the display case behind the counter, and then, as Macha thanked him and headed into the kitchen to make Baojing's drinks, he took her place at the counter, turning towards the Iris and the sharp-looking blue Veil. "Hello, and welcome to Macha's cafe. I hope you don't mind me interrupting your conversation, I just want to know real quick, what can I get for you today?" He asked.
