Latte and Chocolate are powerful mages who fell in love. The two ladies thought they'd start a family, as they found the idea of a family business cute. However, the ladies found that their kids were more powerful than they expected. For starters, the nest raidated with pure magical energy. The rest of the Infected Voyagers noticed, which was odd, as typically their magical activities flew under everyone's radars.

Once their nest hatched, the young faes were off. Even though they were perfectly healthy, the kids radiated with an abnormal amount of magic. Latte and Chocolate quickly determined that their kids were spells themselves, as the only other time they felt that level of energy was from their own spells. Even through they loved their kids so much, they knew that they couldn't keep them close, as that level of magical energy outside the Starfall Isles would draw too much attention. Even through their magics were of earth/plague natures like their moms, they were insanely good at casting for hatchlings, with crystal/facet dragons pulling loads of shiny things from the ground and the slime/sludge kids spitting acid. Their runes and circuit are respectively magic pacts that their mothers made, passed on to them, in turn enhancing their magics.
