As the cook of the caln, along with her brother Frosting, she needs to grow and collect fresh ingredients by herself. Helped by her and companion Creamy, and the brother and Fruity, she harvsests the best plants and fruits despite being stuck to work in a dark and humid territory.
The Tangled Wood isn't the best place to grow anything but fungi and throns. Luckly, down underground she created a cave brightened enough by artifical light. Other dragons do forage outside too, but her plants are something even Dessert uses to create only the best sweets.

Mariah is Vern’s daughter. She’s a bit more adventurous than her parent and doesn’t love the idea of permanently settling down to farm, but she enjoys keeping smaller amounts of flowers and herbs.
