He is very adept with his elemental power, and will never fail to show this to anyone who threatens his mate, Jewel, (he is very protective of her). He is warmhearted for an ice dragon, but has a protective "outer shell" and appears cold if he has any reason to suspect that you will harm his mate. Spike dreams of serving the Icewarden one day, but is content to do so by protecting Jewel so long as they both live, considering this his duty under his deity.
