Well, my lair is a villain lair that is prepared for any battle, so there are many dragons who are ready to defend and protect its borders. Here are three of them.
Sauron, a master of magic, seduction, corruption, necromancy, and power, with an army at his side. No enemy wants to face him in battle. No one wants to be his enemy at all. He himself is a master of disguise, so a mimic will be no match for him. He can easily spot one. And he can corrupt enemies and make them do his bidding, cause them to destroy themselves from within. Or he can simply overpower them with overwhelming force. Either way, he will come out on top. He can turn even a loss into a victory because he is just that patient and that brilliant.

He doesn't get involved in combat most of the times, being busy with the planning and all, but still a skilled combatant and a scary enemy. He shares his knowledge and experience with fighting mimics (and other enemies) with the other guards of course, even if he does so grumpily. He is not a people person.
