Except that they didn't know what to make of this guy. However, because Thing is an eldritch abomination from outer space, the clan can't be entirely sure, so he's in a more isolated part of the Watch's territory. But really, Thing just wants friends, and hugs. Maybe if he can get enough hugs, he might be allowed to become part of the clan? [b]Thing:[/b] Thing can has FRIENDS? OOOH, THING EXCITED. Jon: I only reply to this thread once in awhile; I'm sorry about that. It's easier for me to do a mass reply with several people at once rather than "catching" each response as it comes in. This is true even if you see that I am online on other threads (I have to interact with people more directly here than I do on my challenge threads and that is A Lot even when I'm having a good day).


To answer a question others have asked: Yes, more than one dragon from your clan may hug Thing. (It's OK if only one wants to, too. No pressure!)

As Thing receives hugs and makes friends, it will help prove to the Night's Watch that he's harmless:

At 50 hugs, I will begin the process of leveling Thing to 25. - 50 hugs achieved on October 7th, 2020
At 100 hugs, Thing can have a mate and have hatchlings. - Thing now has a mate and offspring!
At 500 hugs, Thing will be allowed to summon two other beings from his home planet.
