Kyriel is one of the few dragons in my lair with largely fleshed-out lore. She's had a lot of adventures, but mostly these days she hangs around the lair casting shapechange spells on dragons who want to change breeds or genes. She's happy to do it, but there's always a price. (Yep a little inspired by Ursula from The Little Mermaid, but generally less evil.)

Gnarl is my random progen and OOF he was a mess. He started as a mirror with hideous colors (IIRC, it was spring/red/something). Still, I kept him because back in the day, you couldn't even exalt your progens. By the time you could, I'd already made him my primary coli fighter, so he stayed. A VERY lucky scatter and a spiral scroll later, he's now one of my favorites.

Merrin is my random progen and ironically enough, she had very good colors right from the start xD Blood/Ivory/Ivory - I remember how disappointed I was at first because "oh, she only has two different colors, how boring :(" It took me a while to learn how lucky I am with her colors xD

The deities were kind with your RNG! Both ended up looking great. :) I was inspired to briefly try scrying ice/teal/leaf and I got a few that were ok, but it's so far from my aesthetic that I gave up after a few tries haha.

Your progens are simply stunning, and I love how you use their genes to really show off their colours! It's pretty rare to see an imperial progen as well, and your spiral is just so pretty! I love how you've kept them simple and it makes them so elegant.
I also know the pain of progen scatters oof...
I remember that several years ago there was confusion as to whether people who registered during the time window that I did were able to choose their custom progen's tertiary colour or not. This lady's original tert was swamp. Never in my life would I have EVER chosen swamp. Thus, we could not choose our terts during my registration window, case closed. She ate her fair share of scatters before ending up with colours I loved.

both of mine have been through scatters, lore and name changes over the years, so i don't have much coherent written about them, but they're pushing 5-6 years and im glad i took the opportunity to scatter them into combos i like rather than letting them stay exalted :)

My random wasn't too bad in the beginning but I couldn't get the tertiary to work whatsoever, after one scatter I can finally give her a decent tertiary (firefly, need to grind in the coli for those damn insects so I can get the gene from Swipp haha)

Caela is my custom progen. She started out as a guardian, turned her into a ridgeback several years ago and for now she's staying that way! I was pretty sad when the color wheel expansion "fixed" seafoam. I still prefer the gray shadows from before tbh. Ideally I have always wanted her to have shimmer, but that's so expensive and an unlikely goal with my playstyle.

My random is Rosethorn! He has changed a LOT. He started out as a grey/magenta/carmine guardian and I ended up exalting him because he was just so difficult to work with. He was with the Windsinger for almost 3 years and I regretted exalting him so much. I was super happy when the progen restoration was announced and signed up immediately. Since then Rosethorn has been scrolled into a gaoler and is going on a scatterscroll adventure until I find something really nice. It's just taking forever since I'm only making gems with my daily bonus and even that isn't great because I don't feed my dragons often lol. All of his past color combos are listed in his bio.
