Their search led them to the Scarred Wasteland and at the hands of the sadistic Carnage-Ichor, who despite once being their lost comrades, held no love or memory of any of their would-be saviors. For generations the Carnage-Ichor were trying to replicate the procedure of how Ichor were made on other dragons, only to end in horrific failure: in these unpredictable administrations of virus and Wyrmwound fluid, death was the most preferable outcome for those unlucky enough to be selected as candidates. A happy reunion with their fractured Order quickly turned into a nightmare as those Gaolers were captured, tortured, and left to rot in their twisted cells, alongside the living corpses of those failed experiments. Their fur permanently stained with Wyrmwound fluid from their experimentation, they took to calling themselves the Stained Ones, a far cry better name than what the Carnage-Ichor typically called them on a daily basis. A lighter color than their fellow Ichors, their powers are spotty at best- but for what they lack in physical power, they make up for in brainpower. Whether a blessing or a curse, the Stained Ones have kept all their mental faculties intact: they remember their former lives, can control their programmed compulsions and instincts to obey the Plaguebringer's will, and are generally much more resistant to mind control and mental conditions forced upon them by attacking Ichor. A side effect of their unorthodox transformation, perhaps? Whatever the cause, they are simply much mentally tougher than their compatriots. [center][Color=maroon][Size=4][b]Behavior[/b][/center] [Size=4][color=maroon]Stains are generally reserved and disconnected from the world around them, clinging tightly to whatever they have left to keep themselves going- whether it's their mission, a friend back in the Southern Icefield, a far off promise they made, someone they knew before they transformed potentially being able to be rehabilitated, et cetera. Despite this disconnect, Stains do form tight-knit relationships with those they live with, a coping mechanism to keep their spirits up and keep their memories alive. If they manage to escape, a Stain will typically attempt one of three things: report back to the Icewarden, rescue their comrades, or attempt to rehabilitate a former friend even though it will end in failure. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [center][b]2 hatchlings available!
