Balimund fits the bill. He is not the one that seeks out fights and brings new friends(beasts) home to become best friends with other dragons. He merely works his shifts with his loyal friend by his side. Sure guard work could be dangerous, but the eyes looking out for any danger that might come the clans way was very important.

But given the clan is also lit by electricity and magic, candles are not what most dragons think of as the most important good, and thus, Liza tends to get overlooked fairly frequently. Fortunately, she'd rather be left alone most of this time, so this arrangement works out for everyone.

Upsilon, eldest son of the clan leader, is a self-proclaimed artist. That said, nobody has actually seen any of his finished works, and he changes medium so frequently (so far he has dabbled in poetry, special effects, beadwork, tye-dye, percussion, flower arrangement, sewing, and cake decorating) that nobody really has any clue what he does. Or takes him seriously, much to his chagrin.

His work usually gets walked all over, but to him, that's part of the fun - putting art someplace obvious, in a way only the keenest observers will be able to appreciate his work.

When she met Arcana she was just a hatchling; Arcana taught her the mystic arts, Philosophy and various lenguages. She thus became the interpreter of the clan, she even managing to mediate with very bellicose and despotic clan to arrive to a peace with their.
