She's one of my oldest dragons, whom I think I bought during the first few months of playing? (Can't remember exactly)
Before the hibernal den she was shoved to the last page alongside other dragons I didn't want to see everytime I went to my lair, and once the hib den was added she went straight in.
A few months back I finally got tired of having her in the den, took her out, trained her to level 7 or so, and exalted her.
However a few days after I was moving her old apparel into my vault and felt guilty (specifically her steampunk wings), so I unexalted her with the intent to train her up for my cousin whom I convinced to join.
Then someone in a forum thread pointed out some lore potential for her and boom, now she's a permanent member of the clan (with a much better outfit as well).
She now has lore notes that incorporates the fact that she did very little for a long time and that her wings didnt work (caused by the noninfectious disease she has) & was exalted, but is now back and ready to f i g h t

So on january 3rd, a ton of banescales hatched, I scrolled through the AH and found this girl. I thought she was super pretty but I just didn't buy her, then the next day I found her on the auction house again, and again... I thought she was pretty but noone bought her so I was kind of like "Well.. I do have a lot of free space.." so I ended up buying her!

My amazing friend @/RaptorFury hatched this pearlcatcher around the time I joined the game. I really loved how different colored her cherub was, and how cool she looked! I loved this dragon for a long time, but one day when my friend was cleaning out her clan she offered me to have her, and of course I had to take her in!

i still have a lot of the dragons from when i first started, and they're all kind of unconventionally beautiful and funky in their own ways, but sometime it hits me how weird it is that sif here ended up sticking around. to each their own, by most standards she's a generically pretty dragon, but i REALLY dislike butterfly, and barely tolerate petals. especially together, it's one of my least favorite combinations. but sif is like... the most beautiful dragon i've ever seen. i can't explain in, i'd exalt any other dragon like her without a second thought, but from the second i saw her in the AH one of my first days on the site, i was in love. she basically runs my clan now, and is my main coliseum dragon. she's camped out in the first slot in my lair and is Never Moving. III hatched from the first egg i ever scavenged, and i thought (still think) their colors are kinda gross together. but they somehow ended up with a bunch of spooky lore based around the fact they look like they're covered in mold, and i'm really proud of them.

i feel like everyone has a "fell in love with fodder" story but freyr really did take me by surprise. i bought him in a batch of like 15 fodder, leveled them all without looking, and just happened to hesitate for .2 seconds before exalting freyr. then he held me at knifepoint and demanded i give him all new genes/breed, an expensive outfit, and a bunch of lore. i love him so much, and he's fathered a few dragons that also ended up being spoiled lore permas.[/center]
