I was gone for a pretty long time and when I returned there was a [b]t o n[/b] of new stuff. I hadn't even noticed the new eye gene slot until I hatched some eggs and I suddenly found this guy! I was pretty disappointed to see (hehe) that he coudn't pass them on to his children, especially since everything else about him is fairly generic, but I still love him dearly. I spent a lot of time trying to find a fitting helmet or smth, since I had this cool idea of him being some kind of oracle and only seeing through his extra eyes and not the normal ones on his head or only seeing the real world through those extra eyes and some other dimension or the future through his normal ones. At first I tried out the sages cover, then on some holiday I bought the twilight oracles guise, until finally, this night of nocturne, I found the set he's currently wearing. It was perfect, especially because the description of the Ghastcrown even mentioned it helping the wearer peer into other planes of existence. The best thing about it was that I didn't have to worry about the treasure marketplace randomly having the rest of the set, or it even having a set. Along with the fact that those ghostly hands are just a genius idea! I saw someone else post a dragon with them on the subreddit and I thought they were so pretty that I stopped lurking and asked what piece they were!
I was also super happy to have finally found a dragon I could name after smth elder scrolls related and even more so that the obvious choice was my favorite deadric prince!!

I know I want to morph them, but I have no idea how yet. I remember hearing about these wyvern like dragons being planned but how they coudn't be used. I was super lucky with my two eggs.

Yes! I've been waiting for this and have my perfect one... My boi here, Pearlweed! He was the 5th dragon to join my lair and I had the choice of him or his sister, and so far he has SO proven that he was the right choice!

I've acquired a lot of lovely G1s and successful breeding projects this year...but I think the #1 spot goes to Styx, my first Primal keeper with some of my favorite lore!
I actually had my eye on them when the original owner had them listed for 5,000 Gems, but I couldn't justify spending so much at the time. I was sad when they eventually got snapped up...only to find them listed for [i]1,000[/i] Gems only a few months later!
With absolutely no hesitation, I bought and gened them on the same day, and I actually finished their lore in less than 3 days! I couldn't be happier with this little darling, and I'm excited to meet more dragons in the coming year!

This was a little tricky because I've been doing a Legacy of Lore challenge, so I've gotten REALLY attached to some character dragons from that, BUT -
Xavier is the result of a multi-year, on and off breeding project finally come to fruition!
At last, my old fan-dragon dreams have come true ;u;
