@Alcorin Here's your finished review, I hope you enjoy~ ----- First up is Nightcatcher, what a gorgeous lady - and a gen one to boot! She’s all shades of purple but she’s hardly one-note because of it - I love the transitions from the pale lavender of her runes, to the deeper purple of her body, to the more vibrant shade of her mulberry wings. I almost thought she had starmap for a moment but it’s actually her accent, which fits her so well I almost didn’t notice she had one at first! The edges of it are a perfect match for her runes, making her look like she’s wreathed in magical energy - the perfect Arcane dragon. Next is Poison, who I had to look at as soon as I saw those angry eyes. The idea of a tiny, absolutely furious fae should just be funny, but his spines and bright red claws give him an edge of danger too. He definitely looks the part of an alchemist with all that brewed apparel, and it fits him so well too - I love the green glass goggles with his chartreuse wings, and the way the red mantle brings out his toxin. I also love the lore tie-ins with his genes - it works so well to bring his story to life when you can see it right on him. Phantasmal caught my eye next, and he is delightfully spooky. I myself get so frustrated trying to dress a dragon all in black because it seems like every apparel set uses a different shade, but Phantasmal is incredibly cohesive. I do like that he has the lighter grays of the flair scarf and the claws of the White Raven Armor - it goes really well with his paler belly and keeps him from being too monochrome. The Riot Hazebeacon gives him another nice spot of color, and I love how the woodmask gives Phantasmal the same sort of one-bright-spot-in-a-dark-socket eyes as his vulture friend. I looked at Nightcrawler next, I just can’t resist a good earthy brown! Hickory isn’t a color I see a lot of, which is really a shame - it’s a great shade of brown, and I love the contrast of his beige underbelly with it. It also makes the Earth festival apparel look amazing on him, the shade of the stone and fabric bringing out that lighter color of his belly. I also love the other bits of apparel you’ve added to bring it all together - the bandana and hat especially add to the sense of him being a little roguish, not just the usual earthy archaeologist. Another spiral is up next with Donau! He’s lovely to look at, of course - the bright pop of green and yellow from his accent and spinner is so good against the darker teal of his body, especially at his neck where the savannah makes it a deep blue. And his eye, with that swirling green mist coming from it - absolutely gorgeous, and it gives him so much dimension. I think it’s great how you’ve let his colors and accents really shine here, just giving him a couple of pieces of apparel to add to the effect. When I finally made my way down to his lore, I was struck by how sad it was, though it seemed quite fitting for such a beautiful dragon with the edge of mystery he has. Last, I took a look at Astraeus! He’s a gorgeous dragon on his own, but with the apparel you’ve added he’s stunning. It’s amazing just how colorful he is, and that’s all down to some great use of starsilks - the little accents of gold with both the horizon and nebula sets are great at drawing out the color of his buttercup runes, and I love how the other colors of those sets match his primary and secondary perfectly too. The same effect happens with the touches of pink from his accent, matching up with his arcane halo and sage apparel. He’s absolutely lovely to look at, and the combination of lightning and arcane halos gives the impression of something a little wilder under the surface, warring forces bound together in one dragon.

@ridill Your lair was such a treat to look through, so many gorgeous gen ones! It was so hard to choose, but I managed eventually~ ----- First up is Savikh, because I just can’t pass up reds, browns, and golds. He has a stunning color combination on its own, but with his accent it becomes god-tier - and I mean that, he looks like he could be some kind of diety, bedecked in gold and jewels and thick red flowers. Playing up the gold in his skink is definitely the right move with him, and I especially love the gold lining on his belly fins - it makes his capsule look like a fancy decanter holding a mysterious red liquid. Absolutely gorgeous, I could look at this boy all day. Theros certainly has browns too, but rather than Savikh’s rich golds and reds, he’s got the murky reddish-orange of autumn and decay. With his bow and arrows he looks like a dark hunter who’s been wandering the woods for ages on end, far past the time he should have been laid to rest. His wonderfully eerie accent adds to that effect, and I adore the bright gleam of his eyes in the dark shadows of his skull - dark sclera was the perfect choice for him, adding to the sense of a reanimated spirit peering out of a decaying face. Gorgeous colors and a sense of eerie mystery, I love him. Finishing up with Athena! Named after a goddess of wisdom and war and I definitely buy her in that role. She looks intimidatingly beautiful, sharp and no-nonsense with just a touch of softness from the flowers on her wings. I adore the sharp contrast between her silver and black and the vivid red of her glimmer and apparel. It’s all topped off with delicate bits of gold, carried through both by the gilding from her accent and the drifting Summer Swelter. The layering is so good too, the combination of her apparel and accent making her appear draped in an assortment of banners and standards, marking her as a formidable opponent should someone dare to challenge her. Those teals and reds are stunning against each other, he’s just fabulous.

I absolutely adore trail on female skydancers, but the combination of smoke trail and latte capsule is just stunning. That shade of dusty, purple-pink is a perfect match for the gentle healer apparel and the flowers of the sepia rose thorn set, and she looks positively regal with those delicate, intricate pieces. I love that you’ve gone in a completely different direction with her lore - the idea of this ethereal, graceful dragon being quite silly at heart is wonderful. Next is another skydancer with trail, I just can’t help myself. I thought for sure Ter had a green secondary, but that’s just trail doing lovely work yet again. Her subtle greens go so well with the burlap mantle, and the sepia wood apparel is stunning as well - the little pink leaves on it are a perfect match for Ter’s opal, and it makes the branches seem like a part of her. I feel like she belongs deep in a forest, pacing quietly through the trees and disappearing into the foliage at the slightest notice. Pixel is the next dragon I took a look at, I couldn’t resist those bright pinks. Her lore is gorgeously written - I got such a vivid impression of her, delicate and shy, but working on growing strong. It makes her sweetheart rose apparel suit her even better, though I already thought it was a great match, the deep red lace mirroring her horns and the pink blooms going nicely with her many shades of magenta. And I’m right back to the skydancers! You have so many pretty ones, and Sunset is no exception. She has a gorgeous palette, a little bit like Halloween colors but with a more pastel twist that makes her look as mysterious as an oracle should. After reading her lore I have such a cool mental picture of her concentrating on her predictions, the colors on her wings swirling in hypnotic patterns as she works. The last dragon I looked at is Hades, and what a delightfully spooky look he has! I love how he’s mostly monochrome, it makes his bright orange eyes stand out beautifully. The Runaway Rotclaw looks incredibly natural on him as well, especially with his accent - the effect the white seraph gives, like his wings are really just the feathered gray parts and there are plague-y webs hanging from them, is just amazing. He has a really wide variety of apparel, from Plague festival to Earth festival to steampunk, and it all looks so cohesive and natural on him.

@ridill Thank you, I'm so glad you liked it! I really couldn't resist complimenting Sumi, he was just too gorgeous to pass up.

@Alcorin Thanks, I love hearing you enjoyed reading it! Especially that I noticed some dragons who hadn't gotten much love, I know how good that feels~

@SilentDatura Your review is all done, I hope you like it! ----- It’s rare for me to really love a dragon with a full-coverage skin, but Zelimir definitely makes me question my prejudices there! The vivid pop of his bright red eyes against that dark skin is amazing, and I love the subtle glow it gives along his wings. It makes it look as if the alchemist tools are actually casting light over his body, making him appear wonderfully three-dimensional. Keeping his apparel relatively simple is definitely the right move for him, making those striking eyes the centerpiece. Ocezeco is up next! I don’t see a lot of piebald, and he makes me wish I did! He has a wonderful naturalistic look with his browns and greens, and his splotchy brown-on-white patterning makes me think of horses, running free in the wilderness. His apparel only adds to that sense, the fringed vest and map kit making him look well-traveled and down to earth, which matches up perfectly with his lore. Miel is another lovely dragon who reminds me of nature, though in a much different sense than Ocezeco does. You really can’t go wrong with white bones against a dark background, but Miel’s maize ghost helps soften the look, giving her a warmth that the skeleton pattern sometimes lacks. With her accent and flowery apparel, she makes me think of a lush garden bed, well-suited to her occupation of beekeeper. Tethys is an absolute stunner. She looks arcane, mysterious, like she’s constantly busy considering so many facets of thought that anyone else would quickly get lost in them. I love how brightly this accent shines against her dark colors, and how the accent colors of cerulean constellation coordinate with the soft purple color it gives at her neck. The Cindersphere Baubles add just the right soft glow to her, going nicely with the little shimmers of stars from her accent, and her book hints at her lore while still going perfectly with her outfit. Cessair is another gorgeous nature dragon. I love his bright green eyes peeking out of those deeper greens, and how his belly adds to the look of plants sprouting out of earth. His accent is absolutely beautiful on him, the bright shades of the flowers providing rich contrast against his dark greens. I can so easily imagine him as a gentle, slow-moving behemoth, providing sanctuary to plants and creatures that make their homes on his back. And last… Beans! The grand, the powerful, the absolutely terrifying! I love how she looks, somehow the iconic witch and so unique all at once. Her palette is gorgeous - ice ghost somehow gives her entire body a cool, blue-ish cast that a plain white couldn’t have managed. And that accent is absolutely perfect for her too. It’s so natural along with her ghost, and helps give her a spooky vibe that her witch apparel adds to even more. The Aerborne Halo is a surprising touch that I love, that pop of green making her ethereal, like she’s working a spell at this very moment.
