She has some really nice colors, and I especially love how you’ve gened her - gold stained does a wonderful job of toning down what would be some pretty bright, saturated colors into a dustier palette that really suits the Lightning flight. Her outfit does a lot of good work there too with lots of bright cyan to give her that archetypal Lightning look, but adding in those touches of gold as well gives it so much more dimension. She looks tough, very much the survivor that her backstory describes.

[font=constantia]Next up is Cable! Another wonderful Lightning dragon. You really can’t go wrong with cyan on a Lightning dragon, and her uncommon eyes are the perfect shade to match her opal. Her outfit is great too - I love the mix of the sharp, sparking Lightning festival apparel and the Highnoon pieces. The combination turns her from the more stereotypical Lightning cyborg to something a little more unique, and the dark teal undertones in her obsidian primary/secondary almost make it look like the lightning is reflecting in her scales - very cool!

I almost missed that she was wearing an accent because it fits so well with her colors and genes - the extra touches of turquoise along her neck go perfectly with her jade runes, and with the roundhorns too. I also love how the smoke from the lanterns almost blends right into her dark wings, making it look like they’re really a part of her.

[font=constantia]And then, the opposite of subtle with BLiTZ! This dragon is absolutely trippy to look at, I love it. The effect of the Spiral Daze eyes with the jester cap is especially awesome, making it hard to tell where apparel starts and dragon begins. Black, green, and purple isn’t really a combination I see much of, but it looks amazing on BLiTZ, with just enough bright color against the monochrome jester and steampunk apparel to really make it all pop. The whole effect is just so fun to look at, I keep seeing even more little details the longer I do!

I don’t see a lot of bar/daub anymore, which is really a shame, because Rust here shows exactly what I love about it - the rich, dark reds it gives that lots of other genes can’t really approach. Those deep reds coupled with murk crackle (another gene I don’t see a lot of) gives exactly the effect of neglect and decay that you’re looking for, especially when coupled with the poisonous rose thorn and witch’s cobweb apparel. You’d think it would look pretty organic with all that green, but that awesome accent and the steampunk wings do a great job of giving the impression of a machine left long abandoned.

I was so confused when I saw that all of her colors were in the green range - she’s so red! But it’s really just a great use of that Carapace Arm. Really what strikes me most about her is how well-layered she is - just around her head she has the plague mask, woodmask, and antlers, but it’s all arranged to be so natural. The overall impression I get is of a skydancer who’s been mutated somehow, the silhouette just different enough to be uncanny.

What a good robot, oh my - metallic and shimmer are obviously great for a metal-based dragon, but veined adds a really nice touch too, keeping with the idea that’s he’s been pieced together from disparate pieces. What really struck me about him was how cohesive his colors are, without being a triple and despite having multiple different apparel sets on. You’ve done some really masterful layering to get the right shade from the sylvan apparel especially.

This is a god-tier stained combination, especially along with her accent - I love the deep, dark colors of her wings and legs, especially in contrast to the paler color of her body and the bright gold of her apparel. It’s even better in combination with the lore in her bio - I love the idea of her powerful Light magic burning those dark shadows onto her body. Overall, she’s an incredibly striking dragon!

Their colors are just so [i]rich[/i] - I love the intensity of the garnet trail, and the darkest parts of it go so well with lead python. I honestly thought they had stained when I first looked at them, that’s how cohesive those colors are! Their accent and apparel add even more to those dramatic colors. I love the combination of the bright golds and pinks of the Arcane festival apparel with the darker reds of their starsilks, and the sweetheart lace ties them together beautifully!

That color match is absolutely spot on, and with that gold winged eyeliner from her accent, it gives her an amazingly spooky vibe that’s different from the female spiral’s usual cheerful grin. I absolutely love what you’ve done with the layering of the grasps for her - that makes them just the right color to match her runes and eyes. It’s so easy to envision those ethereal hands busily arranging books, she looks so much the mysterious scholar.

The dried flower apparel looks like it was made for her, and I definitely get the sense of a forest spirit settling in the dirt, overrun by plant growth, from the little floral and fungal touches of her apparel.
