With dragon gods running the laws and terraforming, the unlikely can and will happen. And so it did. Where it was not expected for life to flourish, Flamecaller's influence over the early Ashfall Waste lead to the evolution of animals capable of surviving the extremely high temperatures and pressure of the molten land they inhabit by.
[size=5]W[/size]hen the deities created children in the image of themselves, these dragons spread throughout their birth land and later crossed into other regions to find their perfect home. As expected, the sudden increase of these curious new inhabitants within Ashfall Waste would result to the discovery of the resilient magmatic life, further leading into domestication of the species. This of course affected the animals, commonly adapting traits of their new keepers and even developing higher intelligence on some occassions.
Though those that escape back into their birthplace often revert to what they originally were. Just like domesticated pigs do.
And, like any other species, they must be documented. Here is what our fiery observers have found out.[/size][/center]

With the recent explosive reveal of the once lost Banescales, it has been discovered that the mix of magma and hatchling leftovers (such as eggshells and amniotic fluids) has an alternating effect, changing the fauna that come to contact with it. Some of them have found an affinity towards thawed and shattered remains of the ancient dragons, donning them and coating it in minerals/gemstones to create a protective cover.
A new start for both species and a new age in both animal and dragon domains.
