These dragons slither along the ground like snakes & gain mass amounts of fuzz on their bodies. Additionally, this mishap alters the colors of these dragons to some of the brightest colors known to sornieth. some would describe their behavior as worm-like, while comparing their appearance to that of a fuzzy stuffed animal a hatchling would play with. dragon worms are peaceful & harmless. while they may seem a bit scary at first glance, you will find that they are soft and lovable. they enjoy having people stroke their messy, soft fur & they love long naps in the shade. worms are very good with children. while they may not be the best supervisors on account of their laziness, they do not mind hatchlings crawling all over them or sticking things in their fur. they will only move if the sun shifts & they need to find a shady spot to lie in. the worms would never harm a hatchling, or anyone for that matter. They do not hunt or prey on other animals, instead they forage for berries & other plants to consume. standard worms [b][i][u]are not violent[/u][/i][/b]. violent behavior is almost unheard of amongst worms, & it'd be strange for them to suddenly start acting that way.

These eyes do not give worms any special abilities or magic, they’re just normal eyes. [emoji=special eyes size=1][b]FACETED[/b] these worms tend to give into more ‘worm and bug-like’ behaviors. worms with faceted eyes can be seen attempting to pollinate (this just means they eat the pollen) flowers. they are often close to blossom worms. the blossom worms allow facet-eyed worms to pollinate all their flowers, and the two have a close friendship because of this. [emoji=special eyes size=1][b]PRIMAL[/b] these are strange, mysterious, & rare eyes that very few worms exhibit. these eyes gift worms with minimal elemental magic. [b][u]Nature eyes[/u][/b] gift worms the ability to slightly accelerate the growth of plants & crops, thus allowing them to get their food faster, if they were to ever figure out how it works. [b][u]Arcane eyes[/u][/b] gift worms with basic understanding of constellations. they don’t know what this knowledge means, they only know that the shiny things in the sky form pretty shapes & those shapes have names. [b][u]Wind eyes[/u][/b] gift worms the ability to create small & harmless gusts of wind. they primarily use this ability to keep themselves cool during harsh summers & or when they visit the fire territories. [b][u]Water eyes[/u][/b] gift worms the ability to cry vast quantities of tears. rumor has it their tears could fill an entire lake if they ever got sad enough. [b][u]Light eyes[/u][/b] gift worms the ability to temporarily freeze someone in place. think of it as a weaker version of medusa’s ability to turn someone into stone. the worms have an ability similar to that, but there is no stone and the effects are only temporary. [b][u]Earth eyes[/u][/b] gift worms with the ability to eat rocks. this can prove useful when worms get hungry & have a hoard of shiny rocks within their vicinity. it can also prove to be a pain, as these worms will forget that they’ve eaten their shiny rocks, & then proceed to cry about it. [b][u]Plague eye[/u]s[/b] gift worms the ability to heal small wounds they may get while slithering through harsh terrain. They can’t heal big wounds, only small things like paper cuts (can worms even get paper cuts) [b][u]Shadow eyes[/u][/b] are completely useless, much like the worms themselves. they’re simply and endless supply of muk that constantly drips from the worm’s eyes and gets into their fuzzy fur. [b][u]Lightning eyes[/u][/b] aren’t really a gift. instead they make worms similar to a carpet filled with static electricity. you rub one of these worms and you’ll get a shock that’ll ruin your wonderful fur for the next week. [b][u]Ice eyes[/u][/b] gift worms the ability to create small snowflakes. they often make the flakes fall onto their tounges so they can have a cool treat in the summer heat. [emoji=special eyes size=1][b]GLOWING[/b] these worms exhibit an ability to make themselves glow in the dark. however, the only part of this that is visible during the daytime is their brightly-glowing eyes. their eyes look like a bright flashlight that never runs out of battery or turns itself off. if you’re strong enough to carry a glow worm, it can serve as your flashlight on an adventure through a dark place. [emoji=special eyes size=1][b]GOAT[/b] these peculiar worms are the most mysterious of all. sometimes you may feel as if someone is watching you, and when you turn around, a goat-eyed worm is there. It bleats. you scream. you’re scared. [emoji=special eyes size=1][b]SWIRL[/b] these peculiar worms are often called ‘spinning worms.’ the name comes from their… odd habit of spinning around in circles constantly. there is no real reason for this, but the end result is their eyes wind up with a swirled pattern. if you ever run into a swirl-eyed worm, you'll be overcome with a strange urge to pet it.
