[Gestures to the entirety of page two of my fe fandragons]
In all seriousness!
Thirteen is based on a roller coaster of the same name. While I know other roller coaster dragons do exist (shoutout to the person I saw in dragons wanted who was making fandragons of all the Secret Weapon Coasters, of which Thirteen is a part), it still feels like an obscure thing. And I've sort of obfuscated their origins even further by putting them on a page that's otherwise Only Yu Yu Hakusho Fandragons, but, shh
Youzen is one of the major characters from Houshin Engi. While I've heard the series is pretty popular in Japan, especially with it getting a new anime recently, I'm pretty sure its fandom over here is "my friend who introduced me to it, and also the rest of their friends".
I got into SD through fr's advertisements; I know it's at least semi-popular, I've seen a handful of other fandragons, and Buwaro has been recognized twice.
There are exactly zero other fandragons of Sanjulo on this site. I understand it, because he's dead now (and I will never not be sad about it), but.
"I'm going to make a fandragon of the sword from Okami. But like, also make it vague enough that it could refer to the god. But it was definitely based on the sword."
There are some Archanean fandragons I would not consider that obscure. Either everyone knows them because they're fairly popular, or they're in fire emblem: heroes. There's a handful I'd consider on the more Obscure Side, including
Caesar,
Radd, maybe
Bantu, and mmmmmaybe
Gotoh - But Anri is a Backstory Character, meaning that he's a Deluxe sort of obscure.
And now, for page 2 of my fe fandragons.
Now, again, there's like... a handful that maybe aren't as obscure, either through being main characters, or through being in Fire Emblem: Heroes (Levin, Sylvia, Lene, Tiltyu, Cuan, Ethlyn, Leaf, possibly Altena by virtue of being in that family even if not in heroes, Finn, Nanna, Lachesis, Ares, Celice, Sigurd, Deirdre, Julia, Julius, Jamke, Ayra, Mareeta, Ishtar, and Olwen) - but... even some of those feel relatively obscure. If you're not part of either gen's Golden Trios, or the two Canon Wives, or the Twins, or MAYBE Levin, then like. Forget it. You Are Obscure.
However. I still do have a selection of Super Deluxe Obscure Jugdral Dragons:
Such as Hawk. Hawk, is a subkid. For anyone who doesn't know what that means, Jugdral works like Awakening where you have a gen1 full of parents to pair off; if you do, you get their gen2 kids. However, since, unlike in Awakening, none of your gen1 units (well, except Finn) will be with you until endgame, the game will give you a little Booster in case you failed to pair off any gen1 moms. These are the subkids. They're all a little weaker than their non-subkid counterparts, since they have fixed growth rates and (all but two) have no holy blood stat boosts. It is
always better to get the regular kids.
Sety, or Ced, is one of the
best gen2 children without a fixed parentage. He's one of three children who can wield the Forseti Tome, one of The Best And Most Powerful Weapons In The Game, and if you choose to optimize him/follow his fe5 canon parentage, then he's like. A God Amongst Men level of power, one of (if not the Best) units. Even if you decide to optimize his sister, instead, he's still going to be decent-to-good - it is REALLY hard to make him a bad unit.
Hawk replaces Sety.
(And, despite that... he's still my favorite subkid. I love you, even if I will never use you...)
Amid is another subkid, except he's one of the two with holy blood! He's also the cousin of Arthur, the kid he replaces. Which maybe lifts him from obscurity just a tiny bit? If you really like the Freege family.
Karin is from fe5, and is not a main character or also in fe4/heroes. Enough said. (
Asvel also fits this, but, he's dear friends with Leaf...? so?)
Mahnya/Annand is the older sister to Fury/Erinys. She appears in one chapter (well. and Very Briefly at the end of the one before), which she also dies in. She is never playable.
Seti (Or. Sety. Or Ced). But not the one I talked about with Hawk! The guy from the backstory of the game. The Crusader. That one.
Bragi, in the same boat as Seti.
Forseti, one of the Backstory Gods who, depending on who you ask, how much of the game you've seen, what extra game notes from Kaga you've read, and what you decide to personally believe based on what information you've consumed, may or may not also make his appearance in the game as an npc. We Just Don't Know.
