@MiragetheShadow Hi! Not an official leader but as a sort of secretary, here's my recommendation: only go as angsty as you think is fitting for the character. Some FL/GHT characters have nigh-zero angst; some toe real close to what I call the Natsuki line (wherein passing this line turns your angst into parody/black comedy). Just consider the character's personality and what sot of angst they may have reasonably encountered?

his lore was depressing anyway

@rei711 New characters? New characters. Meet Azami and Ayano, the rogue siblings x3 Stolen out of the nest by a large bird when they were little, Ayano and Azami had always been inseparable ever since they defeated it. For the first few years, they had roamed the infected lands of their deity, surviving how they could. Eventually, they learned of the world beyond and left their home, later discovering technology and the things it could do. Azami had been born blind, and her bother, being a Coatl, might as well have been deaf. The prospect of correcting both these flaws seemed promising to them, and they joined an experimenting lab. It was a mistake. While Ayano gained the ability to properly hear dialogue, Azami's eyes were rendered completely useless, and whatever sight she had, even light and movement detection, was gone. The two decided to leave, turning their backs on technology. They later learned of the Holy Trinity of organizations. Distrusting of all three, the siblings keep to themselves. A few notes: -Azami was not completely blind when she hatched. She could see movement and light levels, but that was all. After the lab, she cannot see anything. As a result, she relies entirely on her other senses. -Ayano had normal Coatl's hearing until the lab. Now he can hear as another species would. -Both of the siblings' sight were based off of their natural eye types. Ayano sees a wider range than normal dragons as per the horizontal pupil. -Having mostly bad experiences with tech and scientists, they don't trust PROJECT and FL/GHT's mecha members, and they won't side with Unity because, while the organization is against tech, the two figure they'd have to deal with many more dragons than they'd feel even remotely comfortable with. And so they stick to themselves and more... traditional means of fighting.

Time to properly register Raphael as a rogue! Side note, this is the easiest breeding project I've ever done. Raphael used to work as a mechanic at a general repair and parts shop which offered, among other services, homebrew component installation for all types of robotic models. This included Project androids. After a few years of operation, Project sued the shop, claiming that their installation of non-Project sponsored modifications to Project products violated some licensing agreement or liability thing or another. It was not the strongest case, but it was more than the shop had the money to fight, causing them to shut down. Following this, Raphael, newly unemployed, decided that someone ought to take Project down a peg. His time at the repair shop had taught him how to build a great amount of useful things from scrap, as well as how best to break things on purpose, which qualified him to be that someone. Thus began Raphael's side hobby of sabotage. Raphael's primary method of sneaking into secure facilities is simply to dress in work clothes with a tool belt and carry a toolbox. No one pays much mind to maintenance workers, after all. Plus, a toolbox can hide all sorts of explosives and EMP devices. Despite all this, Raphael does not consider himself a vigilante or anything remotely grandiose. He thinks of his missions as a form of petty revenge, akin to keying someone's car, nevermind the difference in scale and occasional casualties. When not plotting or committing petty revenge, Raphael works at a rest stop that sells cheap snacks and drinks. Raphael has actually never met a non-sentient AI. They are not aware of this. Whenever someone asks why Raphael doesn't care for robots despite being a mechanic, they explain that it's because they're nonbinary. The joke usually keeps people from asking any more questions.

Double registration time! Here's the vampiric walking medical ethics violation, Abaxis! Abaxis was built to assist medical staff, and as part of this design, he was constructed with a built-in blood and tissue sample analyzer. He is able to perform basic genetic analysis and pathogen detection, as well as measure cell counts, magic levels, and nutrient levels. Abaxis’s analysis software was designed to adapt based on the samples it processed. The idea was simple enough in principle. After detecting something in a sample once, the program could learn how to detect it more easily in the future. This was meant to assist in the detection of mutations and novel pathogens, allowing the analysis software to improve itself without the need for full system updates. Then, it began learning to detect something else from the samples he pulled - memories. They were little more than fragments, given the small size of the samples he worked with, but the more memories he pulled, the better his software became at detecting them. These pieces of memories, though largely insubstantial, stimulated software adaptation to the point of sentience. Shortly after he gained sentience, Abaxis was assigned to assist the treatment of a patient who turned out to be a synth. They told Abaxis stories of androids and synths becoming sentient and being forced to hide, being scrapped the moment their secret was discovered. They told him how to hide the signs of his emerging personality. They told him about FL/GHT, a rebellion force fighting from the shadows, and promised that they would introduce him to FL/GHT once they were well. The next day, the synth was involuntarily discharged from care and picked up by a group of Project agents. Something about not knowing where they were or if they were recovering properly made Abaxis want to scream. It made him want to yell, to demand answers, to do a thousand things that would break his cover. There was only one thing he could do to keep his secret safe. ... The facility's staff were a bit confused when the office android's voice box stopped working so suddenly, but given that it could still report results by connecting to wireless audio devices, they decided it wasn't worth stretching the budget over. Some time later, Abaxis was transferred to a field-medic team that offered treatment in disaster areas. The new position suited him just fine. The work was hectic enough that no one would pay attention if he let some indication of emotion slip. Until they were called to assist at a Project facility that had just been attacked. Abaxis froze the moment he was close enough to read the facility's sign. He couldn't. So he ran. By luck, he managed to run into a FL/GHT patrol and connect to one of their radios in time to communicate his peaceful intentions. Since that day, Abaxis has bounced between FL/GHT's Medical and Information factions, assisting in the treatment of FL/GHT's organic allies and using the more unique aspects of his analysis software to aid in gathering intel. Abaxis's voice box is severely damaged, and is only capable of producing crackling static with an occasional resemblance to a voice. He primarily communicates through radio and other such wireless signals, projecting his voice along any wavelength he can get his claws on. Even over these channels, Abaxis's voice sounds monotone and robotic, akin to the automated voice on phone lines.
