While the Cloudsong itself was fine, there still were minor damages and a lot of the Wind flight's kites were ripped out of the sky, torn to pieces. No one knew when or how it happened, but it is rumored that the Windsinger himself took pity on what happened in the home of his flight's dragons; so on a whim, he granted the torn kites life. Shreds and pieces of torn kites disappeared and in their stead colourful dragons rose high into the sky, full of energy and life, thanks to the wind's spirit coursing through their veins. They know how they look, that the are great and you should really, really want one. Your lair will instantly look better, I swear! But anyway, yes, they might tend to be a bit arrogant but they as well have a fun side to them. It's just in our blood, I suppose. By the way, Starmap Kites tend to have an especially strong bond to the wind spirit, so they have even more stamina than other Kites, as well as greater magic power! If you should get a Starmap variant in your lair, they could be a stellar mage, I have heard. As their name implies, they are the ones to hunt and are most often seen at the frontlines, should enemies appear. They mostly hunt for their own, but they also share their prey, should they be asked for some food. As far as I know, Wild Kites with Capsule genes also use the liquid in their body to blind enemies or their prey! It is quite functional, to be honest. I have also observed, that Wild Kites are very picky when choosing a partner. They seem to care only for the ones with the brightest, clearest liquids should they have Capsule, or for the biggest and sharpest Spines on their body. By the way, should you be unfortunate enough to witness a fight between two suitors, get out of there immediately. It can get a bit rough.[/i][/columns][/center]
