Dragon Share

Hi there!!! I haven't been playing FR very long, and I'm well aware this is a very ambitious project to take on. But I'm setting up a breeding project, and I'm super excited about it! I really want to share my kids!! (If this is the wrong forum, I'm so sorry and I'll move this post immediately-) I've absolutely fallen in love with the Starmap and Constellation genes. When I discovered Glimmer, too, I fell in love with them- and I got an idea. I wanted to breed a line of Starmap/Constellation/Glimmer kids for as long as I could, using one baby as the 'heir' to continue the line. I finally have my first two dragons! I'm likely going to be selling most of the other siblings, to spread their genes around!! Rigel is the brightest star in the constellation Orion, and Amalthea is a moon of Jupiter! Both are RTB, but all of my nests are full at the moment, so I'm going to have to wait two days before I can nest them. Here are what some of their kids may look like! Rigel and Amalthea have had three hatchlings! One was given to my friend @/Cocomalt for her birthday! They had two girls and a boy. I've decided that the boy is going to be the one to continue their legacy, and that his remaining sister is going to be on the AH for 100 gems! Betelgeuse, the second brightest star in Orion and Rigel and Amalthea's only son, has finally been bred! Oppy deserves at least a dragon named after her.)

What an interesting breeding project!! Your dragons are very lovely, and the idea is very cool!! Since you're naming the babies after stars, what about also naming them after zodiacs too(just a suggestion)?

A little tip: if you want to breed a certain coloured dragon, you gotta make it so that the colour ranges are smaller to increase the chance of getting the colour combo you want ;)

Ah, thank you! Yeah, looking for that range was what first made me snag Amalthea - she's got pretty close to that, but with the guidelines I'm setting for myself, I want to use dragons from the first breeding. I may breed her and Rigel again in an attempt to get to my dream dragon more quickly, but I also do want to continue on with this pair. But I appreciate the tip! :)

(It's also really, really hard to find starmap/constellation/glimmer, but you can probably guess that, haha)

And his brother, who is on the AH for 75 gems!! I was stalking the AH and was pleased to come across this girl for only 50 gems! So please welcome Bellatrix, who gets us far closer to the genes I was looking for if we can breed right, I love her so much. I've decided to pop Rigel and Amalthea back onto their nests! They won't be breeding for any more heirs - that's up to Bellatrix and Alnilam now - but I do want some more starry babies. I may keep one of them as a partner for an Imperial girl I've had for a little bit, but I'm also planning on probably giving some of them away to friends or putting them up on the market.
