They threw out all the weapons they had or repurposed them, spears turned to garden bed markers and daggers used to carve signs.

Only those who were violent were turned away, and anyone willing to put away their weapons and hatred were allowed to stay for as long as they wanted. Many left to rejoin the fight, taking with them the story of a peaceful land that cared not for the eye color of its members or which god they followed. In time, there were those that sought out the garden, hoping to escape the fighting as they did. The once small group grew in size, the meager garden becoming a spanning community.

The Garden of Healing was the second founded, made by a group that split from the Garden of Peace. Taking many of their beliefs with them, they dedicated themselves to learning and cultivating herbs that were used to heal wounds; though the Garden of Peace had very little contact with the outside, the Garden of Healing would trade their services and materials with surrounding clans. They came to flourish, and as they grew larger, more dragons came and went to found their own Gardens.

Those who do know never say a word about it. All Dreamers are there to encourage any new recruits when they come. All Dreamers are told that they must Dream to survive, when they may wake at any time. Most Dreamers are hidden pacifists, artists, writers, and archaeologists. None of them can see these goals, though, because their hidden leader, sometimes simply called Dreammaster, shrouds all of their opinions behind her own, in a way that they think it is their choice to follow her, to Dream, to kill. They never think they are killing. Only transporting their victims to a different Dream. Dreammaster guides them in this way, giving them choices that aren't really there, showing them what they want, when it's really what It wants.
All Dreamers are kept in a state of darkness in between the Dreaming. This is simply called Sleep. Sleep is nothingness. Vast nothingness, as a preparation to enter the Next Phase. The Next Phase is when all Dreamers will enter the world and coalesce into one designated area in order to create a place with more likeness to Void and create the next place they will live when they ascend beyond the ranks of their garden. This area is called The Boundless Dark. Dreammaster will convince it's Dreamers to do ANYTHING, including leaving their home and living in a barren, impossible wasteland for the rest of their lives.

Note: I tried to make it as brief as I could but I felt like I needed to explain the whole "floating shard in the sky thing" so the location wasn't confusing. The dragons in this garden are also kind of like Buddha monks, in a sense. Also this is actually one of the territories my clan controls but it fit so perfectly with the idea of these gardens that I thought it might be cool to include it [emoji=guardian winking]
