Ah, I see. Yeah, when it comes to a hybrid, one parent has to have colors and genes that make them qualify as a Homunculus. If that hybrid's mate qualified as a homunculus, then your boy would have also qualified. You're fine to pick out homunculus elements though! His mother is still a hybrid, so some homunculus traits from her may have also transferred to him.
