I felt bad and I didn't exalt him right away- I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep him or resell him. Eventually I just decided to keep him because his colors weren't too bad and I liked the lore he had. I spruced him up a bit, gave him some art, and extended on his bio to incorporate him into my clan more. He used to have current as a secondary buuuuut I gave him Hex since it had come out at the time and I don't like current lmao His previous owner actually messaged me at one time saying how glad they were that he went to a good home. ;v;

This is an interesting one for me, because I personally seldom hatch dragons explicitly for fodder- any nest I have I give a once-over for potential permies before exalting. However I do have one fun story. It started with one of the "favorite from the lair above you" games on Dragon Share. When skimming the lair of the person above me, I saw a dragon that (at the time) looked like this. Which I said as much to the player who had him. They replied to me "Oh, he's just fodder. If you like him, you can have him!" 8D Here he is now! She's a decently old double with tons of potential without the need for regeneing, so I gave her Other Side (which I bought during the festival, and it was my favorite skin during the entire event- thank you, Gryffion, for making this possible) and instantly got attached. People that sell these as fodder are just... weird. I don't remember his exact price, but I knew he was around the hatchling fodder floor when I bought him. Look at what he's become... my vampire edgy boy that is slowly getting regened until he's... done, I guess.

I was so excited to level him up all the way and get that huuuuge payoff, but that didn't end up happening www It became an inside joke in our friendgroup that someone wanted him so that I wouldn't exalt him, but I stubbornly held onto him. Since then he has become an integral part of the clan, and is one of my oldest dergs!
