I've got a fire egg. Do I take the chance and hatch or sell it? I don't really need any money (not that I'm rich, but I just don't really need anything). If I get something good, I don't know I'll probably sell it. If not, level and exalt.

Reiyn if you genuinely need the money, and you're not super into G1s or particularly wanting a project in one on the off chance it does hatch pretty, I'd say sell. Keep in mind here that the G1 market as a whole statistically has pretty diminishing returns due to the glut of numbers out there, so unless you hatch a really fanciful double or something, you'll get way more funds more consistently for an egg than you will the results of said egg! Granted, sometimes one man's trash is another's treasure and someone out there might need exactly what you have, but it's hard to find. Your call entirely!
On the other hand, if you love to gamble and genuinely don't mind the loss, hatching is fun. Take it from someone who is a horrible G1 gambler with a lair full of beautiful money sucking mistakes now.

I mean honestly I'd say sell it, but I'm gathering for a mass-hatch so I might have ulterior motives ;)
but like above, it's worth about 235~g rn and you won't get that for the hatchling unless you happen to get like a double or something. I sold a gen1 for 200 g today and was delighted lol
use it to but a nice scroll or something :)
