i managed to get an egg tonight while i was scavenging and i thought 'hey, let's hatch it because i don't have enough projects yet'.
this pops out;

he's thicket/teal/radioactive
so i thought 'okay, i like thicket bee, maybe i can scry him with one gem gene because it'll take forever to get that much money.'
turned out petals thicket was the only thing to match his secondary anyway.
then i decided to pop bee on him and it looked absolutely gorgeous. and i was like 'okay, i have another project that's just as expensive, it'll just take some time.'
but THEN i decided to try glimmer on him just because and;

Aerolite is my eclipse baby, and is fully gened, but she's a gen1 and that stained was the first gem gene i saved for (the other being bee on another gen1 gal)
recently, i decided to get her soft pink silks, and she still needs a violet daredevil cover
spoiled lil eclipse baby but she deserves it. i didnt even plan to hatch anything that day but i got an arcane egg from coli at like 10 pm and who was i to argue against rng?

And Aerolite is so soft and pretty and that stained definitely looks amazing on her.

Goodness he's [i]beautiful[/i] and so is that scry!! Honestly I feel like if you really truly love how a dragon looks, then you should definitely go all out on it with the genes you think will make it look the best no matter how expensive. It might take a while to save up but it's so worth it in the end~
