So I looked through the thread and it seems spines might be allowed? This generally isn't a problem, as subconsciously she controls it well enough that usually the plants simply grow more. However, when she's feeling any strong emotion, she ends up accidentally creating a jungle, often trailing small flowers and moss behind her in her hurried efforts to try and prune back the overgrowth before Gaia notices. As she grows, she begins to learn how to control it better, but she still has her moments when strong emotions bring it out of her. As an adult, she'll become adept at channeling the growth of or creating new plants around her in small bursts, which proves useful during her battle training. If not done properly, or if overdone, it can leave her drained and in need of fresh water and sunlight. She is unaware of this, but there are legends of dragons with her abilities creating enough overgrowth to shield their entire clan in the event of catastrophe, however these tales often end with the dragon in question entirely spent, having sacrificed their entire life-essence in the defense of their chosen clan. ((please let me know if any of this doesn't work with what you've planned for this subspecies and I can re-do it.)) Pure-blood or Half-blood: Pure blood? At least that's what it says right above here where I just realized she was also linked ^.^ eta: her lore is branched off of her adoptive mum Gaia, whose lore I wrote long before I found out about this sub-species, but now I have a head-canon that she has some forest spirit ancestry, she even has the right patterns, just the wrong colors, lol.
