"Just beware. As long as you don't anger her, you'll be alright," he warns. You step into the dark room beyond, and it is like stepping into a tiny island of Tangled Wood in the Ashfall Wastes. The only light are luminous mushrooms, and dark thorns and vines grow over the walls. The floor is covered in a dark spongy moss that glows when you step on it. Curled on an overgrown ledge is the Progenitor, Imeria the Thrice-Named, founder of the Gilded Shadows. Her emblem pulses in time with her breathing, and casts odd shadows over her helmeted face. "Why do you come here, small one?" She asks, without lifting her head from where it rests on her claws. You've heard the stories. How she was overthrown by her daughter, how now she is imprisoned. How even the tiniest beam of light from the sun or a light dragon sends her into a battle frenzy. Imeria is a dangerously unstable dragon, but perhaps the only one who can answer your question.

She couldn't settle in any established clan, and decided to build her own - one that could move with her. After an ill-fated nest mishap introduced her to Faresh, another Nature dragon that couldn't put down roots, they worked together to build Cirque Aerien, a slightly less-than-professional flying circus. Now that it's...off the ground, so to speak, they leave the work to the others they've met and "collected" along the way. Kaia now puts most of her energy into collecting, finding baubles in the various lands they visit and stringing them up around the circus. [/center]

He likes to """borrow""" objects to do arcane experiments on. These objects are sometimes returned to the owner in about the same condition that they left, but more often than not the object is returned as either a lump of slag or somehow... alive? Sometimes it both. Its a well known fact in the clan that you don't ask Gnosis for the item he borrowed unless you are prepared for an unexpected new pet. The scarf he wears and the candles that float around him are all examples of experiments that accidentally imbued life.

I had spent a good 3 million Treasure and 3 thousand Gems on him in the year since I began. I had originally aspired for him to rule with kindness and be the complete opposite of Plague's Canon Lore...then after spending almost every single day on this site...and transferred to Ice, I did a complete 180 with his Lore. He had been turned into a WC from Mirror and became a ruthless and killer Dictator. However, originally I had planned for him to stay with my Random as an official pair, then I was given a very special male Coatl, and just seeing them side by side made me rethink it all. He is now wedded to him and faithful til the end, mostly because he gives him great advice and makes him feel special and loved. "Don't make me sound mushy, yes he is very special to me but, do I dote on him for every affectionate word and means of advice to the questions I need answered? No. No I do not. And the death of my eldest daughter is what caused me to become so vile, not the change in location. I cannot stand the idea of someone hurting a child...much less killing them before they had the chance to become something. I miss her dearly and have made it my will to snuff out anyone who thinks they can do it again to another child...especially in my clan and in any of my clutches. This means my commoners must keep to my rule even if it means they live in fear."
