Dragon Share

The project that is furthest along is The Crystal Kingdom: [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=35157319] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/351574/35157319_350.png[/img] [/url] Heather/Rose/Rose Crystal/Shimmer/Underbelly His pink and purplish crystal reminded me of the pink tourmaline that overtook Lucas' lab. I added some items to his bio that reminded me of TAZ - it was when I added the red robe that I decide to actually look up which items could represent characters and story events. [item=Little Red Riding Hood] After I added the those, I started building the current item grid. My goal is to have the items be organized in the order of events.

When I felt that The Crystal Kingdom was mostly finished, I checked which other dragons of mine could be given the same treatment. In my search for The Crystal Kingdom items I encountered many that reminded me of Sloane: [item=Dunhoof Ambassador][item=Druidic Sash] And so, I decided to take on another project: the city of Goldcliff, and Hurley and Sloane's cherry blossom tree. I did not already have dragons that fit the look I wanted for either, so I got to thinking what would best represent both locations. Multiple items could represent the dryads: [item= Sapling Speaker][item= Barkskin Watcher][item= ][item= Flowering Gladeboughs] Goldcliff is much more difficult to decide on. There are many accents that could portray either the city's rivers or Sloane's vines climbing up the sides of the Goldcliff Trust. [skin=17009] An orca facet could portray shining buildings, while a spearmint butterfly would evoke the theme of an emerald in the desert. Though I mostly want to make fandragons of the places and not the characters, I would also really like to make a workable Roswell out of the available genes, colors and armor. I love their design, and they're just a great character overall. [item=Cardinal Hippogriff] I'm considering a snapper, for the bulk - or possibly a bogsneak.

I found a gen one Amber/Spearmint/Black fae that could represent Goldcliff. I'd like to shake it up, but the lighter color of the fae crests with Amber is giving me pause.

I had some ideas of items I could use for Refuge, but couldn't think of a desert-like scry to fit a dragon that could go along with it. Luckily, there's someone in my lair that can represent at least one element of the arc: Kage, who will represent the Purple Worm. While considering how to pick representatives for The Stolen Century, I decided to choose one for each notable cycle. Today, I found an excellent beach dragon to represent Cycle 21 - The Beach World--my friend @barrybluejules ' Merlot: [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=35905064] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/359051/35905064_350.png[/img] [/url] There is a lot of Crystal in this project, for sure. Possibly I will end up with more than one representative for a concept to have a wider variety of genes.
