Mesos, a quiet Fae, is an apprentice of the leafwings. He's small and near silent, learning the ways of a medic from leader Kemris and the others of the clan. He is, as of now, the only Fae in the clan, and his strange monotone confuses his clanmates often. Some are even a bit suspicious of him, particularly in the time of the Nocturne.

Good luck buddy.

I like to think The Watchdragon buys The Apprentice enough time to sort out an antidote by burning up the fog and scorching any enemies, before succumbing herself. The Apprentice then manages to cure the Elders, who identify the Imposter immediately, trap him, interrogate him, then neutralize The Mimic.
They keep The Imposter around though, guarded by dragons of fortified minds, as they attempt to learn all they can of this corruption, and how the clan might use it to their benefit.

The Apprentice: It would have to be Tourmaline. He's the clan courier and always willing to learn from the clans he delivers to. He's also the one most likely to be bullied and picked on...poor guy.

Tracer, a new addition to the clan, is seen as a free spirit. While the guards have been trying to teach her how to watch over the clan, she's blinking around with her own little powers, usually annoying them to the point where they just give up for the day. It'll be a miracle if they can teach her to sit still. What they don't realize, however, is that she's using her mobility to her advantage. Since she can manipulate time around herself, she keeps moving so that, if hurt, she can just rewind to moments before the injury. As for jumping ahead a few seconds...she's likely just trying to mess with the guards. Seems this blinking ability has served her well this time, seeing as she couldn't quite haul the goods back with her in that fashion. As for her disappearance, easily explained with the time blinks. If it comes to the worst, she can just rewind back to the entrance and dart away, never to be seen again...

Odd that the watchdragon is one of the clan leaders, isn't it? Well, not if you take into account that she has used her Time-turner's Sandglass to go back in time with every mistake made (with the exception of this one, as it seems her magic doesn't work well in this fog). It's made her a paranoid mess at times, and this fog isn't helping. Before this, her clan knew nothing of her powers. Now, however, they might just blame her disappearance on them. This Nocturne hadn't helped in that sense, but she's grateful for being here. At least one of her clanmates is safe. She was always one to watch from a distance, interfering only when necessary. She knows just about every dangerous clan member there, and is pretty good at countering them. That's when she's able to approach them, though. Now, she can just relay what she sees to Tracer, hoping to avoid detection with her probing questions. She's ready to order Tracer to leave if it comes to it, but she's noticed one of her clanmates acting strangely...maybe it's a new fashion trend, or maybe it's the source of the problem. It doesn't help that Darius constantly forces them to switch out their familiars to awaken them.

Orion is the last dragon anyone would consider to be the imposter. He has an outlandish personality that one would be hard-pressed to match. Not only that, but he's not so easily missed. Everyone wouldn't miss him if he suddenly disappeared, not for being discreet and hard to notice, but because he's too easily noticed. Sure, they'd see he'd left, but they'd be happy the nuisance was gone. In fact, they were happy, for a little while that is. Then he returned, gems spent and adorned in a new outfit. Everyone was apprehensive at first, waiting for him to come running, begging for more gems. He had taken from the Hoard for this outfit, right? But no, he seemed content. While he still brags about his supposed wealth and standing, which means almost nothing in the clan, he seems to have toned down. He's also taken a liking to perching where Clockwork used to address the clan before she disappeared. Eclipse, surprisingly, doesn't seem to mind. Everyone lets him do it. They don't want his ever-changing trends to turn back to their old ways, or worse. They don't even question the mask now on his face, nor do they question the mist that seems to follow him around, almost like an echo of himself trails behind him. It's just a part of the trend. A phase. It'll pass... but where's his Petalwing Peryton?

The mask appeared along with Orion's new attire. Everyone thinks it's just a part of the look, seeing as he always wears it. Nobody hears his whispers at night, and if they do, it's just a dream...right? I mean, that's not a voice talking back, is it? How could there be a feminine voice talking to him in the middle of the night? None of the others seem interested in him, and the nearest clan is days away. So, that being the case, it just has to be a trick of the wind. Or perhaps a dream. Or maybe an illusion. After all, masks can't float.
