@Faileas
This is so interesting, I've never seen a subspecies centered around apparel! Please ping me if you get any Nighthowler babies!

@VoxxVoleur

I'm really glad our subspecies interests you! I have added you to our Ping List! :)

As for your question about how we chose which breeds and genes: We carefully went breed by breed and determined which we thought looked the best and most feral in the wolf capes and genes. From there we chose those breeds we thought best fit the ideal of the Nighthowlers. We also may add more breeds in the future, but for now we have concluded that the breeds not chosen are currently immune to the effects of the Nighthowler infection. As for choosing genes, this was a bit more difficult. We all have genes we love, but we wanted to stay true to their wolf-like and wild visage, so we chose genes we thought could resemble fur or more natural patterns that could be found in wildlife with perhaps the exception of crackle, which was added in because it can very easily resemble splattered blood, dirt, or grime. ;)

It was also great to see the dragons you listed that could qualify for the subspecies! :D

@Faileas Could I be put on the pinglist for any Wildclaws? These look really cool, I don't think I've seen or heard of a subspecies based off of apparel.

Hello stranger.

Thank you for wasting your' time reading this :)

I play on mobile, so my responses may take a little longer than normal.
@kkimmel

I'm glad you like them! We really tried to do something a bit different by incorporating Gen Ones and the apparel requirement (as we are both huge fans of wolves/werewolves and Gen One dragons). I will add you to the Ping List for Wildclaws! :)

My own project to breed this monster of a Nighthowler has begun: With that in mind, I might be able to breed a few Nighthowlers just trying to get that one.

I finally got an Oilslick/Garnet/Garnet hatchling~ The third one on site. It's male, so I'll have to breed again for a female, but I'm so close! So close, but it's not quite there yet.

That said, his brothers both qualify as Nighthowlers and I won't be keeping them. Prices are negotiable, so feel free to ping if interested. You guys are on the pinglist for Nighthowlers, so come see some pretty Glimmer Guards: @CaptainNessbot @kkimmel (Ooh, front page doesn't say just WCs.
