I'm trying to breed a Gold/Red/Royal Nocturne (or wc but whatever). There's only been 8 dragons with those specific colors, and only 4 of them are not exalted. I'm trying to get multiple variations of em, but the Gold/Red/Royal is the rarest and also my favorite (;-:)
I adore sunset coloration, and it's surprisingly hard to find dragons with the appropriate color schemes with decent colors all around. For instance, I can find a few Carmine dragons, but it's really inconsistent as a color, sometimes being almost as bright as red and other times being almost as dull as coral, depending on the genes and dragons it's on. (Example: Spiral Male Circuit looks almost like Red Circuit, but the underbelly looks like a darker Coral.)
It's one reason why I'm excited/nervous about the color wheel expansion - not only will there be new colors to choose from (plenty between gold and sunshine, my two favorites in the yellow/orange area) but a standardization of the colors, so I can finally make up my mind on whether it's a good substitute for Red.

My random progen pink/ivory/carmine is one of 3 active lairs, and the only fae. i'm not a fan of pinks, but the ivory kinda gives him a dusty feel.

There are only [i]five[/i] active leaf/sand/green dragons... which I find bewildering. It's one of my favourite colour combos (and was also the colour of my random progen, who's now exalted). Just look at this!

There are only

I love collecting rare and odd combos! I own quite a few pairs, and i'm quite proud of them! Some of my rare combos have become slightly less rare because their children also sport similar colors to their parents, since i love tight combos :3

And only 6 active ones with Goldenrod/Storm/Navy. Honestly I didn't like this colour combo a lot at first, but the SD was cheap and needed for a breeding project... But now I love him. I think he might even have become a permanent dragon for my lair! <3
