Dragon Share

My progens are still with me! I feel like I might've chosen my colors differently if I'd known then what I know now, but I've become rather fond of my little oddballs and the, er, colourful offspring that they produce. Most of my dragons like to go in the buff, but the Aqua Birdskull apparel was just too perfect! She still has a basic Tertiary and probably will continue to do so unless they release a tertiary gene that's even subtler than Spines. She was one of the first dragons I got to 25, and she's a fierce healer and warrior-mage. I've thought about scattering him, but I love the art I have of him and I've sort of gotten used to how he looks. I wanted to name my progenitors after myself and my husband (and also maintain an alliterative scheme). Aquila gets her name from one of my husband's old IRC nicks, and Anzu is named after the Raven God from World of Warcraft (I used to play a druid once upon a time). Their first nest produced a pair of twins, one pale sister and one darker-hued sister. They became the foundations for my slow-moving Legacy Challenges... the pale sister, Bianca, has gone to serve the Gladekeeper but the darker sister is still around. The first time that they finally gave me a Tundra baby, I named her Beloved in honour of this special achievement... and since then, every one of their Tundra offspring has been named Beloved before ultimately going to serve the deities.

After being on the site for nearly two years, I finally stopped breeding my progens sometime this July- after they had exactly 100 hatchings! I am incredibly pleased that they ended up with such a round number of offspring haha :3 And just ten more days until they're two years old! Woohoo! I originally named her Blossomforth but luckily I changed it to her current name a long time ago. Despite being my custom I didn't like her colors for the longest time (I actually preferred my random's colors) but after the Morganite jewelry came out I've since learned to love her colors once again. Lore-wise she's a stern, quiet, mountain of a dragon with mama-bear sensibilities and plethora of secrets she keeps close to her chest. I pretty much fell in love with him the moment I got him. Funnily enough, this is probably why he hasn't changed much since then- I can't decide which genes look "best" on him and I'm continually waiting just in case something "better" might come out. In his lore he's kind of a kooky old fellow who lost most of his eyesight years ago and loves to play pranks on his fellow lair residents, but much like his mate he also has quite a few secrets of his own.

[url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=6899025] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/68991/6899025_350.png[/img] [/url] Yuae here started out as a Fae, and I never put much thought into her name, since I didn't really expect to get so hooked, but I don't really feel like changing it now. I probably wouldn't be playing for so long if I hadn't discovered the lore part of FR ovo Yuae (and my random progen too, when he was still around) have really gotten to know my indecisiveness well. Yuae has changed personalities around three times (but the first one developed so much it could almost be called a different personality too), she's been four different breeds, and I've spent so much money on scrolls that I want to cry. But I'm very happy with her now, and doubt I'll be changing her much in the near future. In my clan, she's the seer, and her visions manifest in her pearl. She's very direct, but never really explains much, so it's hard to understand what she's talking about. I spent so much money on Epsilon before exalting him that I want to share him too: [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/68991/6899026_350.png[/img] I never bred them after the first nest, and I don't see myself doing it very soon, but we'll see.

She is the leader of the clan and has an interest in how magic works and spends much of her time studying the ways that it works. I've gotten her to level 25 recently and she has a Mage build. He has an interest in learning how other dragon species display their mood and tone without a head crest. He is also protective of his clan, and is one of the smallest members of the clan. Ambarclaw is also at level 25 and has a Mire trainer build.

I, like many newbies who didn't know any better, exalted my random, Corbin. Exalting Corbin is why I was short on Guardians until I started the line of Dor. It's funny - I ended up liking my random better than my custom. I don't think I would have picked her colors knowing what I know now! XD I've never figured quite what works for her and while I love scatter scrolling, I'm concerned to uh, scatter scroll her into a mess. ;) So instead she just sits as one of my rotating coli dragons (and is very useful!) I admit it, when I saw him I was like -- well that's unfortunate. Then I ran him through the scryer a few days later and went -- oh. Wait, hey, I can do something with him... so I can honestly say he started my addiction to gene changes. Then I started with accents, and... well, yep. Sunk. Never bred him (but bought him a G1 companion and never bred her either. Oh well, at least he has nice, pretty company!)
