Well now, that is a tough question. I tend to send a few suited dragons along when I need to make contact with other clans, usually with a level 25 along in case things get heated, but as far as official ambassadors go... hm...
If we're going by "best representative of the clan?" I'd have to go with Sprout.
First hatchling of the clan, my avatar dragon, and all around a cheerful, flower-loving, caring soul with a touch of adventure in her. She's usually the one who first greets dragons who formally come to the Bramblewood Grove and makes sure they're comfortable, well-fed, and supplied with plenty of tea.
If we're going by "official diplomat?" Aerdhaite is the one.
Aerdhaite is the clan's official negotiator, who particularly takes an interest in dealing with potentially hostile contacts like the Beastclans. He's even managed to build a trade relationship with several Maren -- quite a feat for a dragon!
He's not the best representative of the clan at large, though... While he's certainly charming and knows his way around any social gathering, he's somewhat duplicitous. While the right forepaw is enchanting the people with smiles and stories, the left hindpaw is planting listening devices or seeking secrets, just in case you happen to turn on him. The clan generally seeks a warmer appearance to outsiders.
If we're talking "the one outsiders usually make contact with first because everybody else moves out of the way so as not to get run over by several tons of happy Snapper?"

Lanntair is like a giant puppy in dragon form. He LOVES people, and can usually be found galumphing at high speeds toward guests with an ear-to-ear grin and bellowing something like "HI YOU SMELL LIKE A NEW FRIEND HOW ARE YOU 8D 8D 8D"
