[center][font=cambria]The brown waters flow at a steady pace along the river. Its smallest parts are barely 5 meters wide. However, the bigger chunks of the river are worth a good 150 meters (492 ft) wide.
The Marrow Run is far from homogenous. Some parts of the river are not that deep, and it's much advised to navigate it with a flat-drafted barge. And that's without even mentioning the "bonebars"! Which are much like sandbars, made of thousands and thousands of bones carried from the Plague Domain and to the river's bed. Maybe the remains of some unknown war that was fought here in the past...
Some other parts of the run are much deeper, with underwater canyons going as deep as 145 meters (475 ft) down. Because of the depth variations and torrents, a significant chunk of the river is not easy to navigate: not suited for navigation with a flat draft, but unaccessible to a boat with a larger draft. While the route is definitely a great and efficient way through the Abiding Boneyard, it's advised to have an experienced navigator on board, or to hire a local sailor.
Surprisingly (mostly considering the brown to red-ish tint of the muddy water), the water is drinkable in most of its parts, with very well-maintained populations of Pale Smallmouth. These also are a real treat to any angler stopping by.

The Council
Little Ivywood is a small town near the Tangled Woods, at the Scarred Wasteland border. It's a decently-lit up forest village, recently took over by the wandering contagion. The community is small, with loose social links, but it tends to grow slowly.
Most dragons living there will gladly welcome strangers. Simply be careful with the thick brambles over there, and don’t step on the lightning bugs.
Eretyras is a port town and outpost in the wilderness of the Abiding Boneyard. It's a bit of an oasis at the banks of Marrow Run river. The dragons living there are hardened by the harsh environment, but as a commercial nerve center, its inhabitants are known to be quite welcoming.
It might be a pirate spot as well. Who knows.

Pale Smallmouth
Seafood
These fish are unable to tolerate water touched by Plaguebringer's brood. Their presence is a good indication if the water is safe to drink.

Plaguebringer's Delight
Seafood
Unlike its tastier equivalent, this lobster carries various dragon-specific diseases within its body to protect it from becoming a fancy dinner.

Glass Minnows
Seafood
The skin of the Glass Minnow is naturally transparent, thus it's naturally macabre.

Southmarsh Podid
Familiar
This Podid is capable of holding its breath for up to two hours, during which time it will take a nap. Tread lightly in the marsh.
2800
Lion's Mane Seeker
Familiar
The voluminous pelt does not prevent this seeker from watching the land below.
2800
Driftwood Baron
Familiar
The toxins found in the venom of Driftwood Barons have been used to combat the onset of several strains of Wyrmwound plague.
0
Muckbottom Catfish
Familiar
A bottomfeeder that consumes only the finest of refuse.
2800
Blotched Quetzeel
Familiar
Where the common Quetzeel is found primarily in the deep seas, the Blotched Quetzeel has strangely made its home in marshes, bogs, and lagoons. Watch where you step!
500
Silt Wolf
Familiar
While swamp wolves are constructs, silt wolves are restless spirits.

Masked Gryphon
Familiar
Gliding on the searing desert winds, masked gryphons will move along riverbanks, fishing as they travel.
1950
Prickly Strangler
Familiar
It's pointy, poisonous, and venomous; the perfect friend.
1950
Melon Marzal
Familiar
Once a marzal ripens, it behaves more like an animal than a plant. Ripe melon marzals will uproot from their parent plant, travel great distances, then burrow to become a new plant.
1000
Shattered Serpent
Familiar
So many Shattered Serpents live in the Abiding Boneyard that the sand itself looks as though it's rippling like an ocean.

Coast Charger
Familiar
Unlike its semi-aquatic charger cousins, coast chargers live exclusively in shallow waters.

Seaglass Swimmer
Familiar
Bits of ocean debris that are incorrectly filtered build up inside of these bicorn whales. Upon discovering a carcass, dragons may find a treasure trove of resources inside! (Colored by Frye.)

Murkbottom Gull
Familiar
As at home in the air as it is beneath the waves.

Bursting Sack of Shinies
Chests
A heavy sack bursting with treasure. So many coins were stuffed into this satchel, its seams have ripped completely open, spilling the riches.

Hefty Treasure Cache
Chests
A brittle wooden crate. Inside is a considerable amount of treasure. You almost feel like you should report this to the authorities.

Time passed, and with-it different travelers and residents. The village was favorable for dragons to build their homes. This tiny hamlet was starting to be called a town. Little Ivywood was born, and the wooden sign at the entrance just got planted.

So far, Eternum holds the key. The guardian cartographer and astronomist welcomes other dragons among the bookshelves. He takes care of the library an its treasure, and even though he’s never worded it clearly, it’s very obvious that the place itself is his Charge.
It’s not a huge library, far from being out of the norm, but it’s growing really slowly. It’s not uncommon to send adventurers gather some more knowledge to fill the shelves.

Winnifred is the local blacksmith. The forge is massive so that the imperial can work comfortably. The old blacksmith, who took Winnifred as his apprentice, is not working here anymore.
Most forged creations from Little Ivywood are shipped all around Sornieth. It’s not a huge enterprise, but Winnifred is starting to get well-known in the field for the beauty of her creations.

Winnifred / Blacksmith

Inari / Artifactionist
A skilled weaponsmith and enchantress. Inari applies spells to her craft to create powerful artifacts. hi
The Library...
The library of Little Ivytown is not a place solely dedicated to books, but to any knowledge in general. Martial art, forge, alchemy and the such are prohibited within the building (for obvious reason), but any other scholar would probably find what they’re looking for here !
It’s not uncommon to send adventurers gather some more knowledge to fill the shelves.

... and the Observatory
As for the observatory, the ambiant darkness around Tangled Woods is perfect for stargazing. For this reason, an observatory has been built on the Library’s roof.
It’s not the best, but not the worst either. The scholars of the Observatory are actively working on improving the place ! And despite the lack of high-quality tools, the sky-maps produced here are probably some of the best in this part of Sornieth.

It is located at the entrance gate of the Scarred Wasteland from the river, at the border with the Sea of Thousand Currents. For this reason, it's a very worth-of-note strategic point.
The estuary and its delta make the area a vast marshland. The shallow water of the smaller branches of the river is home to a rich ecosystem. It is laced with Contagion, making several areas quite dangerous.

Kheme Harbor is a large city at the estuary of the Marrow Run River, rooted in the Plague-touched marshlands.
It's a key entrance point to the Scarred Wasteland by maritime and fluvial route since it allows a safe ride through the Wasteland for a skilled navigator. The city is known for its renowned Academy and scholars.
Kheme Harbor is the closest you can get to a "capital" city in the Marrow Run Council.
