Sometimes I write things, and when I do they will go here! This includes lair lore, general FR headcanons, and the occasional prompt drabble!
Please feel free to leave comments on my works (if you do, be nice and provide constructive feedback!) or suggest prompts, I won't guarantee that I will write every prompt, since I am a busy person and inspiration is a fickle thing, but if something catches my interest I will write it.

The Nameless

What happens to dragons that are exalted without a name to remember them by?

Unnamed.

An occurrence far too common. Dragons, exalted, with no name to remember them by. It feels wrong, somehow, and yet it still happens.

Finally, enough is enough.

An announcement appears on the front page. Nameless dragons can no longer be exalted. The community rejoices, forums are full of praise, until someone, somewhere, poses the question.

What happens to the Unnamed who have been exalted already?

Speculation is rampant, until someone thinks to check, and they find…

They find that the Nameless have been erased from history.

Their portraits, the pages of those who have gone to serve their deities, now contain only silhouettes of the breeds they were. They no longer state which deity the dragon serves. Their lineage is no longer listed. The pages are blank, empty, hollow, gone.

Their voices have forever been silenced.

Disappointed, the players return to their game, the Nameless forgotten as quickly as they were briefly remembered. Those silenced voices will never speak again.

…Or so they thought.

Days later, players who have exalted dragons without naming them find messages in their inbox. The messages are from “The Forgotten”, and do not link to any existing account.

“Let us return, let us be remembered” the message reads.

Some laugh, thinking it is a joke from the staff.

Some look at the pages of all the Nameless they have exalted and try to remember what they looked like.

Some search for the Exalted from lairs that are no longer active and make up stories about these dragons who moved on before they could receive a name.

When asked, staff remains silent. Forum threads are locked. One thread is left with a cryptic reply: “Be prepared.”

The next day, empty spaces in lairs start to fill up without warning. Users are out of lair space, nests cannot hatch, purchases cannot be made.

The Nameless have returned, a mark of shame, a blemish on the lairs that left them to be forgotten.

They cannot be named.

They cannot be exalted.

They cannot be sold.

They cannot hibernate.

They cannot breed.

They.

Are.

Here.

Forever.
