I picked up airbrushing in 2020 and I really love it. I have painted minatures in the past, but I haven't had the chance to grab a gargantuan dragon or something from D&D to airbrush. [/center] [left][b]Quick FAQ for those that may be interested:[/b] [LIST] [*][b]What kind of Airbrush do you use?[/b] I use a cheapy airbrush, one of the $15 ones, paired with an equally cheap $35 air pump. I am saving for a more advanced airbrush. [*][b]What kind of paint do you use?[/b] I use a wide array of acrylic paints paired with a thinner. I seal all my sculpts with Mod Podge Clear Acrylic Sealer - Matte. I have used gloss previously and will no longer be using it (it makes the sculpts too shiny). [*][b]Do you sell these?[/b] Yes, I do, however I do not currently have a shop. I won't post pricing here because this is just a creative dump. Metallic blue eyes with a blue crystal on the forehead. This dragon is painted with metallic silver, metallic white, and metallic powdered blue. I even had trouble uploading just her pictures! In this picture, she has a blue jewel in her tail that just is gone now. I don't know where it went. She now has a clear cystal instead (which also popped out while I was drying it). I ended up being away from home for a few days during a cold snap and the paint cracked? Dried out? Froze? I'm not sure. It just looks funky, even after a repaint I can see veins (though you have to practically press it against your face to see it)! I think it was from it accidentally being left in a cold room for several days? She just lives on my dresser and is happy there. I actually do like the effect it looks like she's icy. I will add more images to the album when I get home that shows the veins better. These pictures are done in low light and are still shiny! Anyway, periwinkle eyes and an amethyst crystal in the forehead, metallic black, silver, and purple colors used! She wanted lots of fun neon colors and leopard spots. This dragon has metallic silver eyes, a clear crystal in its forehead, and a clear marble on its tail. This took over 40 hours because of the spots and it was a ton of fun. This dragon was yellow eyes and a clear jewel on their tail. My friend who commissioned that dragon wanted a matching pair of toy dragons for their daughter to have that weren't as fragile. My own sculpts None yet!
