A WARM WELCOME
You find yourself in the Star Wood Strand. You don't know when, how, or why you're here, you just are. Suddenly, a white and blue Mirror flies overhead. "HEY POLAR, THERE'S A NEWCOMER!" she calls to whomever this 'Polar' is. Moments later, a shaggy blue and purple Tundra comes rumbling through the undergrowth, smiling. “Heya. You’re lost, aren’t you?” You nod, unsure, and he chuckles. “A lot of dragons - and creatures in general - who come by usually are. Come with Snow and me, we can give you shelter until you’re ready to leave.” You scramble to your feet and follow the Mirror and the Tundra into the forest.
There’s a lake and some well-organized dens carved into the trees and built from stone and earth, and dragons of all types and sizes mill about. It seems pretty normal, aside from the oddly specific structure there seems to be. One group of dens for certain pairs, another for unpaired dragons, a third group for dragons that seem to have no place, and so on. The hibernal den appears to be carved out of a clump of massive trees. A certain tree catches your eye, one far larger than the rest with extra structures around it. Yet it seems somewhat concealed. Quite odd.
When you think about it, the whole place seems a little odd, actually. Something seems off about the clan’s dens, its structure, and the inhabitants themselves. Almost as if somebody - particularly whoever dwells in the large tree - is controlling them somehow. Ah well, best not to dwell on the thought; they’re giving you shelter for a little while, and that’s quite the generous offer, no?
Clearly nothing bad can come from it, right?
STRUCTURE
ALPHAS - Polar and Snow, they lead the clan. Probably.
CITIZENS - Nearly everybody else who lives in the clan. They seem to be less influenced by the Lab.
DREAMERS AND NIGHTMARES - Storyweavers and sort of the dragonet-sitters. They appear completely uninfluenced.
HIBERNAL DEN INHABITANTS - They all share a large tree hollow for a den. Also seem uninfluenced.
SCIENTISTS - You can’t really tell much about them, but you have a hunch that they’re the ones controlling the alphas and citizens.
EXPERIMENTS/DANGEROUS BEINGS - Contained in the lab, they all seem very unhappy.
BREEDING PAIRS - Sorted according to what the scientists think look best, as well as generation and age (modern/Ancient).
HATCHLINGS - Sorted based on clan generation and whether or not they're staying.
