Each time a stone blocks a wind tunnel, you hear a click of bamboo on stone somewhere. You place the last stone aaaaaaand... nothing? You both gather in the center of the room and look around. "Uuuuuuuh... somethin' supposed to happen or--?" Ausket whispers from somewhere behind you. Just then, you hear grinding stone and watch as the inscribed stone sinks into the floor as the way forward is revealed. "Awesoooooooome..." He now whispers from atop your noggin. How he got there without you noticing, you don't know, but you shoo him off of you again, and he glides down into the new tunnel. Following close behind, it doesn't take long before you end up at a bamboo weave wall. Hmm. It can't just end here can it? You nudge Ausket out of the way, and press your shoulder against the wall. With just a little force, the panel pops off its fastenings and lists forward into an astounding room. The two of you step into a cavern room with bamboo weave hiding the bare stone on all but the far wall, it's opposite the main door to the rounded chamber, which is marked by a large gap in the stone as well as a number of smaller gaps all covered by sturdy rope netting presumably to keep things from falling through. Sunlight spills in through the openings, painting a lattice of light across the rugs, carpets, and cushions that decorate the floor of the small room. colorful Tapestries and cheery banners drape down form the roof of the cave to the walls, and from the walls to the floor in some places as well, a pleasantly cool breeze animating the room as they all sway. Much of the walls themselves are covered in art, maps, and literature. There's a low, round table near the wall just opposite you, decorated with swirling carvings, and littered with tomes of various sizes which also occupy some of the nearby floor as well. Near you, rolls of kite cloth lean against the wall, bolstered by a number of chests and pots holding parchments, pigments, and other treasures. Bowls stained with paints sit in a heap near the door, and a water basin occupies a space to your right. It's filled mostly with various brushes currently, and you notice some tea cups resting next to it as well. Most importantly, you notice two ornately carved, arching pillars framing the largest gap in the wall, creating a sort of archway that doesn't quite connect at the center. Large runes run up the front face of them, and you can feel the magic they house as you approach the archway. Ausket has been bouncing from place to place all the while, looking at everything, gasping at new treasures and trinkets, laughing at something written on one of the parchments pinned to the wall. "Hey, hey! Lookit!" He's stopped, hovering in front of a drawing affixed to the wall. "This room's got a wind gate-y portal-amajig!" You come to where he's fluttering and see a drawing of the two pillars with what looks to be a portal between them. Huh, maybe you can use it to get home? The drawing depicts a dragon passing a claw over the runes, doesn't look complicated to activate. You take a moment to look out the large "window" at the sea beyond this cave before you decide: 1. Time's up, let's do this! start lighting up the runes! 2. Let's take a closer look at some of this cool stuff!

You take a moment to look out the "window" at the sea beyond this cave before you decide: 1.

"This room's got a wind gate-y portal-amajig!"

You come to where he's fluttering and see a drawing of the two pillars with what looks to be a portal between them. Huh, maybe you can use it to get home? The drawing depicts a dragon passing a claw over the runes, doesn't look complicated to activate. You take a moment to look out the large "window" at the sea beyond this cave before you decide:

1. Time's up, let's do this! start lighting up the runes!
2. Let's take a closer look at some of this cool stuff!

The wind rushes you down and eventually the tunnel starts to gently curve until it is horizontal, and you manage to keep yourself upright at least in the torrent of wind. You notice other passages connecting to this one in the glow of your amulet as you wind carries you on at frightening speed, most of them too small to safely try to dive into. You notice the acoustics of the tunnel change just as you spot a pair of alcoves large enough to attempt to exit, You could dive for one of them, or you risk it and see where this wind tunnel takes you, though you can't imagine that it's good wherever it is. With Ausket clinging to your tail for dear life, you quickly decide to: 1. maneuver into the alcove on the left! 2. let the wind take you. I'm not afraid! 3. maneuver into the alcove on the right!
