You chose: See what happens
Your path: Lost Path (Harpies)
As the harpies come closer, you realize they aren't acting threatening. They seem more curious than fearful or angry.
Then you realize that although many of them are harpies, not all of them are harpies. The harpies are nearest, but there are longnecks not far behind, and kitsunes.
"Poor thing!" one of the harpies says. "This dragon's scared to death!"
"That's what was making the noise!" another harpy says. "It's just a... what is it?"
As the harpies stare at the rubber ducky, one of the kitsunes steps forward.
"I'm sorry we scared you - but you scared us! We have never heard that sound out here before, and we thought it was a new type of beastclan, or a new type of dragon, and we were looking to see what it was! How did you get out here?"
You tell your story, and the kitsune listens sagely.
"You have had an exciting journey," the kitsune says. "Well, the good news for you is that we are allied with the nearby Wind clans. We saw some dragons nearby who might help you. If you go past us and walk - or fly - for five minutes, you'll find them."
You are too tired to think of doing anything else, so you thank them, and keep going.
Soon, you reach a group of wind dragons. They are talking. When you listen in, it sounds like they are talking about the storm.
They look up as you come closer.
"Oh, wow! Someone else is out here?"
"How did they get here?"
One of them steps toward you, looking you over.
"Oh my Windsinger!" she says. "You have traces of wind magic on you. You must be a budding mage."
You protest, and you start to explain how this strange dragon appeared and gave you a box with an amulet in it.
"But how did you get lost in the first place?" she says. "Did the winds carry you in the wrong direction? Because that is what happened to us when we first learned we were wind mages."
You aren't convinced - you still think it is the work of the mischievous spiral who started you on your journey.
"We can help you find your way home, if you want," she says, "or you can stay with us, and we will see if we can teach you how to be a wind mage."
You decide to:
