This is a story about a prophecy that will rock the very foundations of my clan and everything they stand for. This is a story about a dragoness with the weight of the world on her shoulders. Prophecy's daughter shall have to choose
The world to preserve or raze
She cannot refuse
The knowledge that shall end all days

Locked away out of sight
A prisoner humbled
Wisdom's son shall join the fight
When his chains have crumbled

The wolf and the raven
In different guises
Shall make brave the craven
Before the empire rises

The five shall travel side by side
To the place from which Death shied

She let out an unhappy sigh. She glanced at Thomas, curled up in the corner of the nest, and curled her lip. She didn't feel close to the imperial who sought to please and was so stunned whenever she broke a single rule. She was much closer to her other brother, Fenris than to that snitch. She sat up and gazed unhappily out the window. She had never felt quite at home. There had always been a restlessness to her, and something had been pulling at her the entirety of her short life. She knew that her parents knew more than they let on. She could often catch her mother and father gazing at her as if there was a dark shadow over her. The fear and sadness in their gazes unsettled her. She felt like they knew something. She knew her mother was an oracle, and her deepest fear, one that she didn't even acknowledge was that her mother had spoken a prophecy about her. She didn't know what she'd do it that were true. She knew that heroes didn't get happy endings. She didn't want to be the hero, but she somehow knew that deep inside she might have to be.
