My best friend is in a library
They’re books that fill the shelf
I can escape into stories
Unknown places I can delve
But there’s a sweet skydancer
The patient Seraphine
What is this feeling?
It’s so beautiful and serene
Yet the rest of my life
Is not a book
Filled with boredom
Contempt, just look
Unsatisfying life
All pain and strife
Makes broken souls
And shattered goals
If only joy ran rife

But I can go to space
You’ll never be able to beat me
In the knowledgeable race
You’re studying the past
But I‘ve already been there
I don’t need to wait for visions
So I have time to spare
There’s endless places
You can’t explore
But I can see
Even more than before
Travelling space and time
Exploration at its prime
I’ve been to places afar
My learning on par
Knowledge is simply sublime

I’m just here to say hi!
I’ll never choose
To leave your side
The past is the past
You don’t need to know
But the surface’s better
Then what’s down below
A smiling witch
Is not a rare sight
If you see it’s me
It’s gonna be alright!
Our virtues are in the present
The past is quite unpleasant
Put up a fight
To rise to the light
No matter if I was noble or peasant
