@peepdream - Thanks! Birds are good and round and I like them a lot. I might have to make the drawing of birds a yearly thing, since I did a lot of birds late 2019 as well.

i absolutely adore your style!! your watercoloring skills are just amazing and i love your birds ;v; they remind me of the little bird models that my dad and i pinned to his office ceiling

@Kinged - Somehow I missed the notif, but thank you! It's funny you'd mention your dad - my dad showed me a lot of those old Cayley's bird pictures from [i]What Bird Is That[/i], so I kinda find myself thinking about those when I'm trying to detail the feathers. Maybe bird watching is a Dad Thing, I dunno? --------- I finally got some new watercolours for xmas, so here are some Koi... with Koi. I think they'll take some getting used to, buuuuut they do blend really well and only granulated in a couple of spots on my wash where I was really trying to force them to granulate, haha. Really happy with these.

I'm supposed to be drawing nothing but straight lines because I've been pretty unhappy with my hand tremor... but... I keep getting distracted and doodling things. Now I share my actual progress, since I've been drawing all these lines with seemingly no payoff. Again, I have a hand tremor, and I've been working on boring exercises to try and make it a bit better. Let's see if it's been helped a bit.
