The Leader of Clan Ysbraviar and it's initial founder; she now leads alongside her mate Elion. Described as tough, sarcastic, eager to fight yet meaning well, Vis is oddly enough one of the most accepting dragon you will ever encounter. She takes in all manner of dragons and creatures into her Clan, which in itself is a sanctuary for those Unwanted misfits and unlucky few. Many say that Vis has been raised by Harpies and thus understands their language, even acting as a mouthpiece or emissary for the Avian Beasts.

[emoji=arcane rune size=2] [emoji=ice rune size=2][/center]
[Size=2]Clan Ysbraviar is a sanctuary for all those that are unwanted, dead, alive, or in between. The clan does not discriminate and takes in all matter of beasts, both big and small, and makes sure they are treated with respect that they have most likely never experienced in their lives. It is not uncommon for Ysbraviar to house monstrosities alongside fragile ghosts and bloodthirsty demons. The mystery of it all is how they keep the peace amongst themselves... But Vis will not tell.
Originating from the Starfall Isles, Vis' homeland, she soon had to migrate alongside her entire Clan to a more secluded and secure location (as well as a place with more room for her members). This meant the clan undergoing The Great Migration- as they know it now. But it was more so a "fleeing for our lives in an orderly manner" type of situation. Vis knows what many horrors are after herself and her clan, so she chose to go to the one place she knew they'd be safe: the Southern Icefields. Here they reside now, secure, and far away from the rest of the world. No one comes to look for the dead in a place where you go to die.
The Clan does not have a set theme or "aesthetic"- as anyone is welcome and there are no "rules" for them to be accepted into Ysbraviar.

[size=2]Clan Ysbraviar isn't completely nomadic, yet during their time in the Arcanist's territory they were forced to travel quite often due to threats unknown. That is why they never had a set place to be for long, and seldom did they return to the same place for long periods of time. That is one of the reasons why the clan underwent the Great Migration, which took the ever-growing clan from the Starfall Isles all the way to the Southern Icefields.
They now reside deep inside the impenetrable Fortress of Ends, not only aiding the Icewarden with keeping Horrorbeasts from escaping, but becoming one of the first few who dared to work alongside the Gaolers in their hunt for monsters and shade beasts. The Icewarden allowed them to stay, even granting the Clan an entire unused section of his Fortress for whatever they may need. Thus, the clan was allowed to expand, grow and prosper, becoming an "unwanted things' sanctuary".

[nextcol][b]Boreas [Sentinel][/b]
Unreadable and calm, yet with an incredibly warm heart, Boreas is what one could call the Icewarden's "right hand man". Upon gaining the honorable title of Sentinel, and thus become one of the God's elite guards and helpers, Boreas also earned himself a single wish. He kept this wish for ages, but upon discovering a frozen over baby mirror, he decided to put it to use. Boreas is the reason why Ysbraviar was allowed to reside within the Icewarden's domain. He is like a father to little Glasya, and will protect her with his life.
[/columns]
[columns][b]Glasya [Reanimated Vessel][/b]
Glasya, a small Mirror which Boreas found already dead, frostbitten and iced over in the frozen tundras of his home. He took pity on the poor creature and used his wish to bring her back; Now Glasya serves as the Icewarden's eyes and ears, a medium for him, per se. She is always seen in company of little frostbitten hummingbirds, and her skin is cold to the touch, almost see-through in some parts of her body allowing the bone underneath to show. Some of her bones are also exposed, mainly her tail and skull, which she is very self-conscious over. She helps travellers lost in blizzards, as she does not wish others to meet her fate. Glaysa is a curious, happy little mirror which enjoys skittering around her "father", and sleeping in his warm fur.

[nextcol][b]Orythia [Overseer][/b]
In her earlier years of service, she got badly mauled during a brutal attack of an escaped Horrorbeast. And, despite being able to contain it again, her body was so damaged that she needed a lot of her body parts modified or replaced by mechanics. Due to this, she is capable of wielding electrical abilities and magics to a limited extent, but has gotten quite eerily good at this new ability. Now she holds her job with even more seriousness than before, and her tail always whips and lashes in anticipation of another attack. She sometimes suffers nightmares related to her attack and failure, but tells no one.
[/columns]
[columns][b]Mróz [Gentle Guardian][/b]
His job includes serving as both a Sentinel and a Guard to Ysbraviar's Clan entrance, standing immobile for days at a time in the ice like a massive, glacial statue. However Mróz also serves as a Guide for many who cannot reach the Clan themselves, most notably [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&id=353913&tab=dragon&did=37369184]Pallor[/url], Vis' best friend and Leader of her own clan. He carries the little fragile Fae in a secure "carriage" or "booth", attached to his back like an elephant, or close to his chest, depending on the weather and precautions he needs to take. He calls her Lady Pallor, and is known to be a very gentle soul.

[nextcol][b]Pagos [Blizzard Scout][/b]
Frosty in both appearance and manner, Pagos considers himself more of a guardian of his clan than a part of it. He keeps to the shadows and fringes, always alert for any sign of a threat. He generally avoids the thick of clan life, and as a result is somewhat rigid in his interactions. While he seems frigid, in reality Pagos is more shy and solitary than anything else. While he's not widely liked due to his solitary nature, his clan trusts Pagos to protect them from any approaching danger. He's proven his loyalty on many an occasion, and while some consider him rather unfriendly, all know they can turn to him for help in times of trouble. If they can find him, that is; he prefers to fade into the snowy background whenever possible.
[/columns]
[columns][b]Auk [Frozen Experiment][/b]
The little Pearcatcher was born into captivity and experimented on during the majority of her life, using rather unethical ice magics and methods. After finding a permanent home with Ysbraviar, Auk is still learning how to socialize, her past making her very shy and afraid of approaching others. She keeps to the quiet parts of the Clan, doing her best to warm up to the others- both literally and figuratively. As an individual that's never felt warmth in her life before, she becomes very overwhelmed with emotion over things such as a hug or even warm soup.

[nextcol][b]Dusk [Veteran Sentinel][/b]
Dusk is an odd case. He was one of the first prototype Tundras ever made by the Icewarden, which granted him a few characteristics of his older brethren; gnarled horns, more bulk and resistance to the cold and elements, longer and thicker fur, as well as being generally taller than the average Tundra. His cold gaze is linked to the Icewarden directly, and his glare is capable of subduing even the most hot headed imperial. A War General and a Sentinel, he takes no crap from anyone.

[columns][b]Kaaru [Questioned Alliance][/b]
Kaaru is believed to be an exile to the Gaolers, a failure in their eyes, a traitor, a freak. He does not appear to be one with them, acting especially uncomfortable with the other Gaolers in Ysbraviar. Others think he was a prisoner, a used host for the Shade. No one can confirm his past, not even himself, but he is oddly close to the Ice-aligned Eryena...

A Banescale with the eyes of her enemies, imprisoned for neither belonging to the Fire nor Ice flight. She does not remember how long she was kept a prisoner of the Gaolers, but she DOES remember the day that one of them helped her escape: a Gaoler with the eyes of a Fire aligned dragon. Her opposite, yet, her equal. She is oddly attached to Kaaru ever since they met...

[columns][b]xxx [Revived Gaoler][/b]
Used to be a Gaoler, but died during the Bane-Gao war as a veteran. Recently he got brought back to life because they found parts of his skeleton- not an entire body unfortunately. Due to having little to work with, they decided it'd be best to bring him back in the form of a Tundra; less body mass needed, and perhaps better adapted to current Sornieth. He is a stoic, level-headed individual that used to be dearly loved due to his methodical strategies and always placing his mens' safety before his own. He is now more of a reclusive shadow, neither thinking of himself as worthy to return to his original breed, the Gaolers, nor join the newer one, the Tundras. However, Dusk... " Is it refuge you seek? Ah. . . I can feel the determination in your bones, the drive in your cause. You are not born of Ice and Snow, yet you come to me as if you were my very own Child? Hm. . . So be it, Child of Thulian Cold. May my Home be Yours, may My Halls be your Sanctuary; May the Horrors of the Dark lose your scent to time, and may the Blizzards erase your Memory Eternal. Here You shall now be Safe. Here you shall now be Forgotten. That is My Blessing "
Notable Members
Boreas [Sentinel]
Unreadable and calm, yet with an incredibly warm heart, Boreas is what one could call the Icewarden's "right hand man". Upon gaining the honorable title of Sentinel, and thus become one of the God's elite guards and helpers, Boreas also earned himself a single wish. He kept this wish for ages, but upon discovering a frozen over baby mirror, he decided to put it to use. Boreas is the reason why Ysbraviar was allowed to reside within the Icewarden's domain. He is like a father to little Glasya, and will protect her with his life.
Glasya [Reanimated Vessel]
Orythia [Overseer]
In her earlier years of service, she got badly mauled during a brutal attack of an escaped Horrorbeast. And, despite being able to contain it again, her body was so damaged that she needed a lot of her body parts modified or replaced by mechanics. Due to this, she is capable of wielding electrical abilities and magics to a limited extent, but has gotten quite eerily good at this new ability. Now she holds her job with even more seriousness than before, and her tail always whips and lashes in anticipation of another attack. She sometimes suffers nightmares related to her attack and failure, but tells no one.
Mróz [Gentle Guardian]
His job includes serving as both a Sentinel and a Guard to Ysbraviar's Clan entrance, standing immobile for days at a time in the ice like a massive, glacial statue. However Mróz also serves as a Guide for many who cannot reach the Clan themselves, most notably Pallor, Vis' best friend and Leader of her own clan. He carries the little fragile Fae in a secure "carriage" or "booth", attached to his back like an elephant, or close to his chest, depending on the weather and precautions he needs to take. He calls her Lady Pallor, and is known to be a very gentle soul.
Pagos [Blizzard Scout]
Auk [Frozen Experiment]
The little Pearcatcher was born into captivity and experimented on during the majority of her life, using rather unethical ice magics and methods. After finding a permanent home with Ysbraviar, Auk is still learning how to socialize, her past making her very shy and afraid of approaching others. She keeps to the quiet parts of the Clan, doing her best to warm up to the others- both literally and figuratively. As an individual that's never felt warmth in her life before, she becomes very overwhelmed with emotion over things such as a hug or even warm soup.
Dusk [Veteran Sentinel]
Dusk is an odd case. He was one of the first prototype Tundras ever made by the Icewarden, which granted him a few characteristics of his older brethren; gnarled horns, more bulk and resistance to the cold and elements, longer and thicker fur, as well as being generally taller than the average Tundra. His cold gaze is linked to the Icewarden directly, and his glare is capable of subduing even the most hot headed imperial. A War General and a Sentinel, he takes no crap from anyone.
Kaaru [Questioned Alliance]
Kaaru is believed to be an exile to the Gaolers, a failure in their eyes, a traitor, a freak. He does not appear to be one with them, acting especially uncomfortable with the other Gaolers in Ysbraviar. Others think he was a prisoner, a used host for the Shade. No one can confirm his past, not even himself, but he is oddly close to the Ice-aligned Eryena...
Eryena [Wrongly Accused]
A Banescale with the eyes of her enemies, imprisoned for neither belonging to the Fire nor Ice flight. She does not remember how long she was kept a prisoner of the Gaolers, but she DOES remember the day that one of them helped her escape: a Gaoler with the eyes of a Fire aligned dragon. Her opposite, yet, her equal. She is oddly attached to Kaaru ever since they met...
xxx [Revived Gaoler]
He cannot help but feel as though he recognizes him.

Having been given the Icewarden's Blessing to stay within his walls despite not originating from his Domain originally, Clan Ysbraviar has made the icy prison walls part of their home, many members joining the jailer ranks and aiding the Ice God in his duties as thanks for giving them a place to reside and live. The Gaolers that were this place's sole inhabitants for centuries have come to grow accustomed to the presence of these new members, and although they sometimes still act indifferent to them, Ysbraviar is not seen as an enemy, but odd, helpful companions.

Somewhere between Ice and Arcane territories lies a neutral meeting point; it is a place where both flights meet but belong to no one, and thus has been chosen as the perfect middle ground for Emissaries, Ambassadors and Messengers to ask for safe passage between both territories. The circular, mysterious stone gateway seen in the Meeting Point's center is a mystery to all those who do not receive permission to cross the borders.

The Original home of Clan Ysbraviar and alleged birthplace of their leader and founder, the mirror Vis. The clan was forced to migrate from Arcane to Ice due to the increasing size of their Clan, coupled with the various individuals that were deemed too dangerous to roam freely amongst the crystals and trees. Vis and her mate, Elion, took the decision of migrating to Ice together, after Elion revealed a secret tidbit of information to her about his origins. Now, their old clan lies semi-abandoned amongst the enchanted trees and glowing crystals, but occasionally it is visited if for no other reason than to make sure it hasn't been found by some... unsavory individuals.
