The Chamber of Noctis: The main chamber of the Hibernal Den, and the first level a visitor may enter through the main entrance.
The Vault: The clan prison, existing at the deepest level possible. Home for saboteurs, traitors and mutineers.
Those Who Hunger: Those affected most by the endemic strain of the clan brought from the Wastes and enhanced by the cold. They are kept just above the Vault- for every prison needs monsters to guard its prisoners.
The Morgue: Located above the chamber of Those Who Hunger, this sublevel is home to the Death Council, and is where the dead are interred.
The Lab: The lab is actually set aside in its own dragon-made cave underground with ample ventilation and escape exits, as well as support structures- to ensure any explosions won't trap the scientists inside. In this cave, experiments, alchemy, and other questionable sciences occur.
The Hunting Grounds: This is not so much a chamber as it is the clan's claimed territory where game is hunted, flora is collected, and fish caught from festering pools. The clan is fiercely territorial of their hunting grounds, and only accept outsiders to hunt on them if they are allied with them.
The Athenaeum: The Library and Sanctum. This is where the scholars, sages, magi and Lorekeepers archive and convene over topics of intellectual pursuits. Beneath the ground, the clan found sunken ruins- possibly from the same society that created the ruins found in Shadow's territory. The clan renovated some of the ancient sunken buildings and repurposed them into a library.
The Commerce Guild: Located near the Vault- and out of reach of Those Who Hunger- the Guild also doubles as the Hoard, where the clan's tradesmen, scouts, smugglers and entrepreneurs gather to talk trade.
The Craftsman's Hall: A chamber that houses the supplies of the crafters of the clan. It is often full of light and sound as the craftsdragons rarely cease their work.
The Foxfire Lights: This sect of the clan tap into the ever present infection and its by-products. They use this energy to replenish the stores of magic that the clan uses in its everyday activities. They wander the Wastes, collecting magic for the clan, their brightly glowing wings and markings making them eerie spectres among the scattered bones.

Together, the two formed a tiny clan in a secluded, but ideal stretch of forest close to the Sea of a Thousand Currents. They were small, and focused on patrolling the borders, but were prosperous, until they were ousted from their rule. Instead of fighting the usurper, the two quietly went to serve the Shadowbinder- where they patiently learned, and changed to better serve the Shadows. Together, the two of them expanded the territory, deeper into the Wispwillow Grove, and welcomed any who were clever enough to impress Lauern, or strong enough to match Schatten's ferocity- and a pair named Lou and Lux were just such contenders to be welcomed into the clan... but they brought treachery with them. He told the ancient warden of how his clan kept order, kept tidy boundaries, and protected their territory from unnecessary conflict and desecration. All of this, he said through Thorne. The Gaoler respected the Imperial for her age, size and breed alone as a fellow "Eldest and First" of another Deity, but also recognised the blessing of the Icewarden as one born of his realm by the chilly white of her eyes and resistance to his manacles of frost. Thrawn revealed himself as Warlord once the Gaoler was placated, and offered the ancient warden a subset of territory in the mountain tunnels that dug deep into the icy cliffsides of the glacier, as well as free reign to control the Emperor he had subdued within the clan's Vaults. He would allow him free movement, and assist him "To the best of his ability" and "Within his own moral spectrum" in his charge as a Gaoler. In return, he asked the denizens of his clan be left alone, save for the Emperor, as he knew the three headed dragon was too dangerous to be left unguarded. The old Gaoler agreed, and soon, the clan had more Gaolers coming to ally themselves within their ranks- but in a separate, detached sort of way. The peace within the frozen wilds was not to last- as the Banescales emerged, and the violent intrusion of the Flamecaller's children from the north increased, shrinking the Southern Icefields, more dragons were displaced from the melting floes, coming inland. More clans- dragon and Beastclan alike- were intruding too close to the territory of the clan, and threatened their privacy. Yennefer suggested making a pilgrimage to her territory of origin- to the Tangled Wood, and forge a new home there deep in the dark, where the clan's.... unsavoury practices could continue uninterrupted, and with a closer connection to their allies. Thrawn agreed, and the clan returned to where they began so many years ago, returning to the warm embrace of the Shadowbinder's dark realm, protected by brambles, sheltered in ruins, and free to continue their unique way of life, uninhibited. Thrawn was pleased and satisfied, for he was right- his clan would survive, as it had since its inception, and under his rule, it would thrive. ------------ [/center]

RISE TO POWER

8095.png

Clan Shinga ai Vuna is a clan that for its size, is rich in history- of conquest, betrayal, liberation, adaptation, survival and love.

39733.png
Born in the dregs of the Shadowbinder's domain, a Guardian named Yennefer found her Charge- a lost Fae named Geralt.

A single wildclaw named Schatten, pushed from the Tidelord's domain for her aggression, challenged the young pair for their territory and won, then attracted the attention of a lonely and intelligent ridgeback named Lauern, who was banished from the Stormcatcher's domain for her lack of proper work ethic- she was focused more on lore, stories, and quiet reflection.

Lux and Lou- both children of the Plaguebringer, brought a plague with them that slowly infected the clan, and Schatten soon felt compelled to move the clan to the Scarred Wastes- where Lou and Lux mutinied, and took control of the clan.

They wasted no time demoting the former leaders to the lowest rank, treating them poorly- even going so far as to destroy one of their nests- it was only by sheer luck that one egg survived, and was sent to another clan for safety, securing a future alliance. Their paranoid grip had the clan isolated, and the slow decline threatened to decimate the clan- and caused unrest in the ranks.

THE EMERGENCE

....

Things were changing in Sornieth. The nature of dragons was changing, manifesting in new appearances, new genetics, even the very eyes of the latest offspring was different, even disturbing.

Even those who had left to serve the Eleven were returning, and such a pair was the Progenitors of the clan. Thrawn welcomed them back without qualm, and the two took up positions in the main council, settling into clan life with their new abilities- and new forms.

Thrawn only saw it as opportunity. The land was changing, and his clan, used to change, to upheaval, calamity, strife and trials, would survive, would thrive, would go on.

Even when the Gaolers emerged, Thrawn only saw opportunity. He directly approached an ancient Overseer, and informed him of the events happening in Sornieth, explaining why things- and most dragons- seemed Shade-Touched.
