ooohIn short

Founded by a group of runaways seeking refuge away from the clutches of an organization, the clan has gone through much misfortunes. A safe heaven for the small gang of young dragons, a haphazard afterthought. Threatening and swaying to collapse on itself under its own weight and poor foundations. Until it no longer could stand.

Now the clan is known as being peaceful-- choosing to stay neutral to the war and keep to themselves, hidden by spells. Welcoming dragons and beastmen amidst their ranks.

Being located fairly close to the river border of the Tangled wood and Nature continent, the town serves both as a calm resting place for locals and visitors alike, and a small port for ships to dock. The town is primarily inhabited by small and mid-sized species of dragons and various beastclans members. Some choose to be by themselves, others to share their home with a roommate or two--possibly more depending on their sizes. Ridgebacks can be rarely seen as they mostly keep to the old underground Common room and the hollowed out tunnel system. The majority of them don't like the adaptive shrinking spells that the Imperials had created long ago. Imperials however, are far more likely to be a common sight in the district. As mentioned above, it was them who came up with the shrinking spell during the late Neuma times-- honing and improving it since. [sup][*][/sup] At the very heart of the district are the open air theater and library, both sharing the same building. Here one can find the clan's blacksmith, leatherworker, and trader-- the first houses on the left. The ones with signs hanging over their porch are the Tailor's atelier and jeweler's shop. On the outskirts of village, hidden or nestled on the shore are the Guardians' homes and the homes of more solitary members. The Lone cottages have another path paved through the forest surrounding it, leading east. Following it, one will reach a small area with a monastery and shrines built. Secluded, lonely-- hidden away from most. The air here is gently crackling with magic energies, singing a soothing lullaby as a welcome. It strangely compels those who wander the area to be quiet themselves, slow down and listen to the magics' flowing song or feel their energy wash and ripple over them like calm tidal waves. On each side of the monastery's doors stand towering Obelisks, watching over it. To the monastery's slight left, on the cliff behind a veil of weeping willow branches are the meditative stones. The willows tower over the sanctuary from behind it, casting soft glow on the circular low stone platforms that overlook the river and part of Fisher's town.

When a clan member commits a wrongdoing, they are put on a clan trial where the Judgements evaluate the severity of their deed then come to a verdict- ultimately deciding that member's fate. Smaller crimes like theft committed by a fellow council member are punished with an amount of years in the working as a regular ranking class. Essentially revoking his or her position as a council. Should any attempts at reclaiming it through more crime doing, the punishments will increase in length or severity. More severe crimes like fraud or violation of another member's rights in one way or another will result in permanent exile. If that clan member had committed murder, they are sent to death sentence. This last instance is oftentimes very complicated, with the case being reviewed very carefully to avoid critical mistakes. - - - ---x- - - --- Should a clanmate, Dragon or Beast that is not within the council ranks do any of the following misdeeds- they are taken up to trial. If the misdeed is repeated, then the denizen who did it has one of their utmost valuable possessions taken. In hopes this discourages from future repeats. 2. Should they commit fraud, they are sent to prison for a period of time. Depending on the severity they might be turned into Unmentionables. 3. Murder and other violations of high severity are punished by exile, long term isolation or on rare cases-- death. --------------------------- There are three Judgement councilors- one always a long term veteran who is required to keep a watchful eye on his or her subordinates. The Head judgement is the one who declares the verdicts. The second councilor is Accusative Judgment. Both sides must always know what is going on with the case they're leading and can't afford to give the wrong information. Their primary job is to discuss or rather, debate an idea and show both its pros and cons. With the Defense advisor focusing on the positive and benefitial sides of a proposed idea whilst the Accusative point to the negatives. In the room, a scale is placed at the center of the desk-- tiping this way or the other depending on how solid and sound each advisor's arguments are. The faction leaders are oftentimes the very founders of their order (though not always) and have the responsibility of keeping their followers in-line to maintain discipline. They are tasked with having to organize weekly gatherings for the faction they're head of, attend monthly Council meetings and report to the Clan leaders. They are usually highly regarded because of this by the group they supervise, some saying that they are akin to mentors to them. Others, mostly veterans, claim they are something of a big family to them.

The Judgements or jokingly referred to as "The executors"
77gM2kg.png
efETa5O.png
This is one of the highest council ranks, also rarely known as Major Council.

The Judgements, specifically having to bear by far the heaviest burden of pronouncing a fellow clan mate either as innocent or guilty when giving a verdict during a clan trial.

- - - ---x- - - ---

Should a clanmate, Dragon or Beast that is not within the council ranks do any of the following misdeeds- they are taken up to trial. Where the Judgements review their case in detail and decide their fate. Proceeding by the following instances as such:

1. Should they steal, a warning in issued first time.

There are three Judgement councilors- one always a long term veteran who is required to keep a watchful eye on his or her subordinates.

The Head judgement is the one who declares the verdicts.

The second councilor is Accusative Judgment.

And the final councilor is the Pleading Judgment, the secondary's counterpart.

Advisors
Lower down the ladder are the Advisors who divide into two categories-offense and defense.
Each side has only one member to avoid over complexity.
Advisors are also Major Council but are often considered to be a middle class rather than high.

1596113968079.png1596113968079.png1596113968079.png
The Minor Council are tasked with supervising and leading their assigned faction, reporting to eighter an Advisor, Head Judgement or directly to the clan leader. If said figure is absent, members of the Minor Council should report on duty to the clan's Second in Command.
1596113968079.png1596113968079.png1596113968079.png
Each order leader is technically falling into the Council territory but they're Minor Council members.
