The magician closed her eyes and breathed.
Around her, winds howled and seas thrashed and fires roared. The sun peaked out of a clearing in the trees, casting down its golden light. Birds hopped around at her feet, sensing the peculiar energy.
The magician remained still.
While the world around her thrived, her mind took up its residence outside of her body.
"I missed you," said her father. Her father was not with the magician in the woods, but simultaneously, he was. "We never speak nowadays."
"That will soon be remedied," replied the magician. If she had been in her body, tears might fall. "I will see you again."
The father came to a realization. "Daughter, you did not--"
"I didn't." The magician's eyes opened. In the distance, a rumbling could be heard. "They came to the conclusion themselves."
The magician kneeled into the grass, at the base of a tree. "Let the land reclaim me. Let me become one with the earth below my feet. Let their act of sacrilege cleanse these grounds of their bloodshed."
The rumbling grew louder. Cries could be heard.
"WITCH!" cried the town. "BURN, WITCH!"
The magician's trembling fingers traced a name in the wood. Her father's name. "Let me see my father again," she whispered.
The town arrived in the magician's clearing. They snarled and huffed and held out their torches.
The magician closed her eyes once more as her beloved forest burned.
This was fun! Not even I was expecting what happened at the end, to be honest.

Another week ends soon and here i am with late prompts!
my super late try for "sense in nonsense" with my random 5 lines, i used one of my spirals, Acacia, as model!

For "A Big World Out There" i had just finished playing minecraft when i saw the prompt, so that was my attempt to imitate the style with one of my snappers, Zephyr! (and bees bc i had just met one for the first time!!!)

For st patricks day "Tada gan iarracht" i drew a character i made way long ago when i was feeling down, drawing Clover would be a good pick me up back then^^

As for the "Comfort Zone" prompt i took way longer than usual, i wanted to actually step out of it so i finally set to draw a character i've been planning for months, but never drew anything. still nameless, she's a half-fox human (fox faunus, if you're familiar with the RWBY universe she's based off) that hunts demon-like creatures for a living.
in the end, i learned a lot! the only elements i was comfortable drawing here were the fox mask and tail.

yesterday's prompt, "If You Had A Chance To Change Your Fate", was so fun to do! i swapped my dog and one of my cat's colors and markings. Lisa and Oliver are always playing together and annoying each other. the second pic is what they look like irl.
